5 Things I Love About The Inspired Year Planner & Amazing Giveaway

As of 10/21/17, a winner has been generated. Congratulations, Tracie C.!!

Hey there!

Just last week, I wrote about my Book of Positive Aspects and how I have been writing about life as I wish it to be instead of life as it is or life as it has been. In addition to this, I shared my personal vow of taking this fall to focus on moments that are important to me and re-aligning myself with my personal short-term and long-term goals.

Three of my short-term fall goals include being present and “fully in the moment” during football season for both boys, planning a lovely, fall family dinner, and re-aligning myself with my other goals – all while being mindful about why each goal is important.

So, to help me get clear on my goals, organize and plan accordingly, I’ve been using the Inspired Year Planner!

But, the Inspired Year Planner isn’t just for goal-setting.

Kathy Pine, creator and designer explains how the planner is more about “creating lives full of happiness, purpose and bringing about a healthy [life] balance”.

And, I agree!

Having a planning tool such as this simply melts my heart because it is in alignment with the direction I am taking my life into. It gives me another place other than my Book of Positive Aspects to plan, schedule, and reflect upon important things in our lives right now such as as taking time out for self-care, balancing football games for each of the boys, allowing myself time to write and reflect, planning a lovely family fall dinner, various school and work events, and special days like Grandparents Day (which happened to be this past Sunday).

Thankfully, the Inspired Year Planner was created by an entrepreneurial mother, with a family who understands all too well how challenging it can be to stay on top of life all while staying inspired.

So, without further adieu…

5 Things I Love About The Inspired Year Planner

1. As an Academic Advisor in a college, I love that the Inspired Year Planner is on an Academic Year. This allows me to plan as new academic years approach for my job, as well as school for my boys.

2. The section entitled, “The Big Picture” allows me to plan out my larger goals along with monthly milestones for tracking and accomplishment purposes. The theme is followed throughout the planner which inspires one to not give up on your initial goals.

3. On each weekly spread the left-hand column is labeled, “Goals: What Matters This Week?” This is important as I am chunking down those larger goals or simply focusing on meaningful tasks such as buying Grandparents Day cards and writing down to send them in a timely fashion.

4. I appreciate the Daily Focus theme throughout the planner which states, “Each morning, determine no more than three things to focus on for the day.” I appreciate this daily reminder because it is easy for me to sometimes get caught up into thinking about so many things and as a result, not getting something done or getting things half way done.

This tip alone keeps me focused on the three most important things for the day.

5. Finally, I love that the Inspired Year Planner is spacious enough for my large writing and allows extra space to write in other things. As a person with large writing, nothing is more frustrating than having a planning tool that doesn’t allow the functionality that you need.

This looks like a great planner! I’m a Filofax gal myself, but I can always appreciate a nice planner. I use my planner to keep everything in one place that’s going on in my life. As a health coach, wife, and mom, my life is crazy. I’ve learned that not writing things down means they never really existed for me…lol.

I haven’t tried a Filofax, yet. I see a lot of pins on Pinterest, though which have spiked my interest. Currently, I’m crushing on this one, though because there’s so much room for goal tracking. 🙂

This planner seems really great and I love the positive message it shares! I also need a lot of space due to my large handwriting so I completely understand what you mean. I’m going to enter the giveaway, thanks!

This looks like an incredible planner! Especially for someone like me that does write larger than most folks. I think I may have found my 2018 planner…me thinks?!?!?
