Part 2 | My Book of Positive Aspects and HAPPY

A few months ago,  I wrote a post entitled, My Book of Positive Aspects. In that post, I explained how I was working through the book Money, and the Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

In the teachings of Abraham, one of the tasks you are assigned with is to create a notebook called your Book of Positive Aspects. Everyday for 14 days, you are to write about life as you wish it to be instead of life as it is or life as it has been.

From this you are creating your desired reality.

At the time of that post, I was on Day 13 and I talked about the journey as of that point.

“I have been able to identify people, places, and things that no longer fit with the person I have become and am becoming. I am able to clearly identify more of what I truly want and also appreciate all that has already manifested within my life this far.”

Read more about it here…

How Many Days Did I Write?

Without fail, I wrote for 30 days in a row. That’s right. Far past the 14 days suggested. By the end of the 30 days, I was not happy, nor did I feel a sense of accomplishment or a positive shift in any area of my life. Instead, I was upset, on edge, and filled with anxiety because I did not see anything happening.

There were no miracles.

There were no amazing manifestations.

I was devastated.

Why Didn’t This Work?

How could I have done all of this work; focusing my thoughts for more than 68 seconds at a time, praying profusely, meditating nightly, and writing daily for 30 days with no happenings?

For the following few weeks, I fell into a depressive slump. I had all of these hopes, dreams, and goals that I had focused on and yet nothing happened.

There was no relationship start-up. There was no weight loss past the previous four pounds. My eczema had cleared – and, returned. And to top things off, there was no abundance of funds in my bank account.

My excitement for new beginnings dulled. The spark was out and I needed to raise my vibrations.

Fast Forward

Fast forward to present day; more than two months later. I am no longer in a depressive slump. Things shifted positively. Dating took off. My dad recently commented on my weight loss that I had not taken note of. My eczema is drying and healing without prescribed steroid creams and still, there is no large abundance of funds in my bank account. LOL.

There’s always something, right?

But, here’s what I also think happened.

I had to change my perspective for the moment and look at things a little bit differently with a different set of eyes.

During that two month time frame, our lives changed dramatically – with our dad having a stroke and being hospitalized. Instead of focusing on myself,  I focused my energy on my father, communicating well with my brothers during this time, and looking at the “bigger picture” – taking note of the fact that life could always be way worse than how it is.

While the things that I wanted to manifest are important to me, they were not and are not immediate needs. Spending time as a family and supporting each other through this transition is and was more important.

I mean seriously, how would you feel if in the morning you were fully independent and by nightfall you had paralysis on your entire dominant side?

Well, that’s what my dad is going through right now. I’m sure you can imagine the difficult journey it has been the past few months.

Change the Path, Not the Goal

So, in order to get through this journey, I realized I needed to change my perspective and course of actions. For example, if I want/wanted a change in that bank account, I need/needed to take action. I can’t just sit and wait for things to change. While miracles do happen, I firmly believe there has to be some course of action…inspired action that is.

My course of action for this has been to write out my goals step by step in my Inspired Year Goal Setting Planner to get my my financial account in better shape.

I have also been using printables from the 30 Day Frugal Fanatic Holiday Savings Challenge – which has been a big help. Each morning, she sends a daily challenge on ways to make and save money for the holidays. I have not followed it point for point, but I have definitely taken away a lot of helpful money management tips from it.

Raising My Vibrations with HAPPY Organic Mood Blend

Finally, one of the most important things I did was to raise my vibrations and increase my mood by using an Organic Mood Blend called HAPPY.

HAPPY is an organic herbal mood supplement from Khroma Herbal Products that is vegan, organic, not packaged in plastic, and contains no artificial ingredients. It is designed to help those feeling depressed to feel much happier and lighter.

HAPPY helps to balance your mood, reduce anxiety, and bring more calmness to your being – all of which I needed with everything going how it had been.

To increase my mood, I simply take 3 droppers full daily. Drops can be placed directly into your mouth or they can be dropped into a beverage. I prefer directly on my tongue since the taste is not bad at all. It has a taste similar to watered down honey.

Ingredients include: Organic Wild Lettuce, Organic Chamomile, Organic St John’s Wort, Organic Ashwagandha Root, Organic Feverfew, Organic Fennel, Organic Vegetable Glycerin, and Distilled Water.

In Summary

Sometimes we just need a little more time.

Although, I did do the work of  focusing my thoughts for more than 68 seconds at a time, praying profusely, meditating nightly, and writing daily for 30 days and saw no immediate results, does not mean things were not in the works. Perhaps, it was not “my time” – right at “that time” that I wanted things to happen.

But, with changing my perspective, allowing some extra time, utilizing my resources, and using HAPPY, I have been able to move through this process – and, ultimately raise my vibrations during this challenging time.

Do I ever plan on creating another Book of Positive Aspects? I am not sure. I guess only time will tell.

That’s deep! I think its a good idea to write things, its helps put life into perspective and may allow one to focus on those important details that matter.

I really enjoyed this article. I believe we need to put others first and our life and think about others each day to take our minds off ourselves and serving God at the same time. Things don’t change over night and we have to do our part. I never heard of Happy before. I will have to check this out. Thank you so much for sharing
