Coffee with Cresimo at Indiana Dunes National Park

Back in February, I decided to order an America The Beautiful National Parks and Federal Lands Pass to visit as many national parks as possible this year. Since March, I have been grateful to have made it to one park each month, most recently, Indiana Dunes National Park. However, I noticed a recurring theme on our roadtrips; we run out of coffee during the morning hours.

When this happens, a choice has to be made. We either choose to go without coffee or purchase coffee from somewhere along the road. The challenge with grabbing coffee along the road is two-fold. First, it can become costly. Secondly, there is always a chance that we may not enjoy the coffee which is even more of a bummer. Recently, however, I found our solution by pure accident. Here’s how.

Cresimo 3L Coffee Airpot with Pump for Beverage Station

For work, we host various informational tables throughout the academic year. One of our ideas to make the informational table more engaging during the winter months was to offer a hot beverage station. Unfortunately, we did not have a beverage dispenser that would allow us to do this. I began researching options on Amazon and found the Cresimo 3L Coffee Airpot with Pump. It was just what we needed.

The insulated airpot offers a 12-hour hot and 24-hour cold option which means it will keep your coffee piping hot for 12 hours and your iced coffee chilled for a full 24 hours. It has an easy-to-use lever and pump offering both convenience and performance and has a 3-liter capacity which is an ideal size to host a mini beverage station during our informational tables.

So, now that I have the Cresimo airpot, we can offer hot chocolate, tea, and coffee on cold days and cold lemonade or iced tea on warmer days. With this in mind, my intentions were and still are to have this for our informational tables, however, in the meantime, it solved my coffee travel problem. Here’s how.

Coffee with Cresimo at Indiana Dunes National Park

Over the weekend as I was preparing the car for our day trip, I stopped to make myself a tumbler of coffee for the road. I paused and said, “I know that I’m going to run out and want more”. At that moment, I glanced over, saw the Cresimo Coffee Airpot by my work bag, and immediately knew that it had solved my problem.

I opened the box, washed the airpot, made my coffee, and filled it with my favorite coffee made to my liking. I then grabbed my tumbler for the early morning car ride and my National Park camper mug to enjoy coffee once we arrived at Indiana Dunes National Park. Everything worked out perfectly. Once I was ready to relax, I simply put my airpot on the bench, filled my camper mug, and relaxed. I couldn’t believe that I had not thought about this sooner. Not only did I have coffee for the ride and the beach, but I didn’t run out and it stayed hot. Talk about a problem being solved.

Once our trip had come to an end and we returned home, clean up was easy. I removed the coffee thermos’ large top and press and wiped it clean with a sponge. That’s it.

A Bit About Cresimo and Final Thoughts

From my experience, I would recommend the Cresimo 3L Coffee Airpot with Pump if you enjoy drinking plenty of coffee on your travels and want a way to keep your coffee hot.

If you are unfamiliar with Cresimo, they are a small business and can be found on Amazon. They offer premium quality stainless steel coffee ware products, such as coffee airpots and coffee carafes. You can also choose other models for your preferences. As an example, my airpot does not have a drip tray, but if that feature is important to you, you can certainly order one of the models with a drip tray.

Lastly, Cresimo products are designed in the United States and come with a 100% lifetime guarantee. If you ever need assistance or have questions about their products, they have a dedicated team to ensure your satisfaction.
