The 2019 Harlem Globetrotters Tour is Here! Be Prepared!

I am so excited to announce that the 2019 Harlem Globetrotters Tour has come back around – just as it did last year. These teams have amazing talent as they showcase their incredible ball handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, hilarious comedy, and unequaled fan interaction!

Last year was really exciting for us because it was our first time going as a family and I had no idea of what to expect. As an excited mom, I wanted to be prepared, so I came up with 4 Things to Do to help ensure a memorable time at the game which included the following:

1) Stay After for an Autograph

Stay after the game for an autograph and photo op. I heard of people doing this and knew that it was an option, so we tried it out – with success. It’s important to know that there is a limited amount of time that the players have to sign autographs, so you will want to move very quickly to avoid being at the end of the lines.

2) Wear Matching Colors

I also thought that it would be a great idea to dress in matching colors for the game and wear red, white, and blue. We accomplished this and ended up with pretty decent photos.

3) Take a Family Photo

At the time, I thought it would be a great idea to take a family photo together and one with the Globetrotters. However, trying to get a family photo with one of the Globetrotters was a little challenging. Instead, I stood back and took photographs of the boys as they got their albums autographed.

4) Make an Autograph Album

Lastly, I encouraged readers to create a mini autograph Harlem Globetrotters Album – which I made for the boys. They LOVE their albums and show them off a lot.

** To Create the Album

Purchase a $1 photo album from the Dollar Tree.
Insert 4×6 plain sheets of paper into the album or index cards.
Easily pull out and hand to Globetrotters to sign.
When the game is over, fill remaining pages with photos of the night and left over ticket stubs!
