10 Books I Love for Personal Development for your 20’s and 30’s

For as long as I can remember, I have loved reading books. In addition to having a fondness of reading and trying to become the best Brennon I can be, I spend countless hours researching personal development and self-actualization.

Some may ask, “What is self-actualization?” Self-actualization is a term used in many psychology theories which simply means living up to your full potential. However, Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory argues that before a person can reach self-actualization, he or she must have their basic needs met.

Learning more about self-actualization is simple, just pop the term in a search engine and read your little heart out!

In the meantime, here are 10 books I love for personal development that are on my bookshelf that I have and continue to read from my 20’s and into my 30’s. Some that are found below are strictly towards personal development, while some of the others give a sassy, feminine twist specifically for women – which makes the reading and learning fun and interesting.
Have you ever read any of these books? What are your thoughts? Leave a comment below and/or shoot me an email and let me know. Or, even better, if you have one you would like to add, let me know!
