4 Resources to Up Your Blogging Game for Under $10

This post contains referral and affiliate links to products I recommend.

Hey Y’all!

Every now and again, I write about blogging. Well, today is one of those days. In today’s post I’m sharing with you 4 unique resources to up your blogging game for under $10.

For starters, if you are new to blogging (or, just want to increase your skills) and don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars to improve your skills right away, how about testing out some of these less expensive alternatives.

#1 and #2 HubSpot Academy and Udemy

HubSpot Academy and Udemy offer free and low cost certified courses in a variety of fields. In particular, courses related to blogging.

In March, I was determined to learn more about blogging for both, my blog and my work blog, so I enrolled in HubSpot’s Content Marketing course. While the course information was only 4 hours, it took me a few weeks to complete amongst other obligations.

Once I completed the course and passed my final examination, I was awarded my Content Marketing certified certificate that now hangs in my work office.

In the course I was introduced to many ideas, templates, and resources to use to be successful as I create content for both blogs. The course was free and I was even able to use it for work as both, personal and professional development! Whoohoo!

This particular format includes mainly video, but there are tons of additional resources jammed packed within the course.

#3 Trendimi Academy

Trendimi Academy  is an online accredited virtual campus which allows you take various course. The Academy is accredited by the International Council for Online Educational Standards.

Courses are not free, however, if you purchase through Groupon, you are likely to strike an amazing deal – like I did. I love Groupon!

I chose the Online Fashion & Lifestyle Blogger Course to checkout any tips that I had not yet heard of.  The course itself retails at $199 EUR. However, I used a $5 Groupon and added the Take25 coupon code which made the course $3.75.

Hello, Groupon!

Once you have completed the course, you will earn your certificate. Your very first hard copy certificate if free, however, additional hard copy certificates must be purchased.

This particular format includes mainly text and test questions.

#4 Alison

Alison offers free online learning courses, as well. I love the format of most of the courses I have taken. What I do not like is that – if you want a hard copy certificate, you must pay for it.

However, if you aren’t using the certificate to show or prove anything, have no worries. Simply take the course(s) and up your skills. When ever we are learning something new at work, or making department changes, Alison is my “Go-To” for a quick crash course to increase my knowledge and skills.

This particular format includes mainly video, but there are also additional resources within the course.

In Summary

Blogging is an amazing path to take, whether as a hobby or professional. Either way, it takes time and skill. So, even if you are on a tight budget, you can still expand your skill-set and invest in yourself to become the best blogger you can be with virtual campus courses such as HubSpot Academy and Udemy, Trendimi Academy, and Alison.
