This past summer, my youngest son asked for a handful of fun small appliances for him and his friends so that they could have a fun summer. He asked for a hot dog warmer machine, a popcorn maker, and a snow cone machine. I added the items to my master gift list and let it sit – until recently when I had the opportunity to partner with Hawaiin Shaved Ice.

At that time, he made shaved ice syrup in his mom’s kitchen. Since then, the company has grown exponentially and is now the leading residential shaved ice and cotton candy supplier on Amazon. Gifting Hawaiian Shaved Ice
With all that said, I was able to gift my children a Hawaiian Shaved Ice machine and party kit which made for an extremely fun family night in. My youngest son was the most excited and wanted to be the one to open the package.

Assembling the Machine
Once all of the contents were out of the box, assembling the machine was easy. We placed the top portion into the base and plugged it in. The machine comes with two ice molds so that you have nice and fluffy shaved ice.
Since we got started so suddenly, we did not have time to freeze water in the ice mold to make the shaved ice as fluffy as it should have been.
Instead, we used small iced nuggets from our ice machine. And, while it worked, the consistency was more of a snow cone than shaved ice. However, it still worked well and was enjoyable.

Final Thoughts
Overall, my children are very excited about having this Hawaiin Shaved Ice Machine. It’s easy to assemble and make shaved ice cones and other recipes. If you are thinking about gift ideas, especially for teens, this would have to go to the top of my list.
