By the time this post publishes, I’ll be well into Week 31, however, I want to go back and give an update on Week 30. Week 30 was a lot of fun! I spent three days actively participating in the Summer Virtual Prego Expo, a Let’s Get Sponsored Blogger Challenge, and had maternity photos taken. So, let’s jump into what each of those entailed.
Summer Virtual Prego Expo
A while back, during Week 24, I mentioned on the blog that I had learned about the Prego Expo from YouTube and knew that I wanted to participate.
Well, manifestation occurred and I was invited to participate as an Influencer. I spent three days actively engaged in multiple topics from various brands. A few sessions that I attended included a discussion on Postpartum Depression, Baby Wearing 101, and Montessori Home.
I also learned more about InspiraSpark’s Little Balance Box, the Yoomi Complete Bottle System, Happy Family Organics, and the Lorestry app. I’ll cover them in detail in another post.
What I appreciated about attending the virtual expo was that I didn’t have to leave home and it was so engaging. I’ve never participated in anything like this before so it was a completely new experience and I learned a lot.
On the final day, we played Bingo and the winners were announced. There was also a Scavenger Hunt taking place to win a really nice wagon. That would really be a delight to win! The energy of the expo was contagious and it was nice seeing all the posts on social media.

Now, I’m just waiting for my swag bag to arrive! I can wait to share what’s all in the bag!
Let’s Get Sponsored Blogger Challenge
During the same three days, the Let’s Get Sponsored Blogger Challenge by Blog Clarity was going on. Luckily there were replays of each video/workshop. The challenge taught participants how to work with brands in various ways and busted a lot of myths about working with brands. I genuinely appreciate the information that was given and plan to use it moving forward with future collaborations.
Maternity Photos
Finally, I had maternity photos taken by the same photographer who took my birthday photos in my early 30’s. She sent a few sneak peek samples, which were nice. I can’t wait to get the entire shoot back.
What I enjoyed about the maternity shoot was that we did it at a county park. The park was not crowded and the weather was beautiful. Again, this was a new experience, as well. With my first son, I didn’t have photos taken. With my second son, I had a few taken a JCPenny Portraits Studio. They were pretty basic shots in the studio, nothing fancy at all.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Week 30 was a lot better than Week 29. It was interesting, enjoyable, and informative. In addition, I’ve been off for about a week, so of course, I’m happy to have some at-home downtime. And, you know what else? I haven’t been having any high glucose levels or issues. But, I’ve also cut out ice cream, regular drinks, etc. So, now I just need to maintain.
