It’s October, I know, but I am just now able to pause for a moment and bring you my September Dimes to Disney Update. But, I have a few confessions…three to be exact.
Confession #1
I just left Chicago from spending a day at the Field Museum of Natural History. But, also gathering information about the new pop up Disney exhibit in Chicago. That’s right!
Mickey Mouse is turning 90 this year and to celebrate 90 wonderful years, the exhibit will feature all the ways Mickey and his creator, Walt Disney, have influenced pop culture and the media over the decades.
Chicago was Walt Disney’s hometown. The pop up exhibit will be in Chicago until October 25th. So, I’ll be sharing more details once I’ve gone. At least, that is the plan.
Confession #2
A few months ago, I wrote about how I was saving money for Disney by using Digit. Well, after about 2 months of using it, I stopped and withdrew all my cash. But, guess what happened? I hadn’t saved any more money electronically since I stopped Digit. So, guess what I did?
I went back to Digit. That’s right. I realized that I needed that extra help to help boost our savings. The good thing is – is that everything was still stored and I was able to pick up where I left off. Thank goodness.
So, if you are having trouble using cash and saving dimes, please consider using Digit or another form of electronic savings to help you.
I’ve included my Digit referral links because if you sign up for Digit, we both get a kick back.
Helllo, increased savings – for both of us!
Confession #3
My final confession is bitter-sweet. We had to push our trip back. Sigh. Now, that both of the boys are on different school schedules, I’ve had a rough time finding a common time for us to go.
So, what may end up happening is that we will only go for a few days and use a weekend to do it because between basketball practice and conditioning, and one on the traditional, middle school schedule and one on the year-round, elementary schedule – this has become a bit more difficult than I thought in planning.
