Happy Faux Fur Friday! Faux Fur Friday is observed on the first Friday in December. The goal is to inspire people to find stylish ways to wear and buy faux fur.
If you are unfamiliar, faux fur is simply fake fur. Fake fur made its debut in the textile industry in 1929 as a way of having the look and feel of real fur without hurting or killing animals.
As time went on, designers have found a variety of creative ways to incorporate faux fur. From accent clothing all the way to home décor and furnishings, I’m sure you’ve seen it all.

With that in mind, I want to share a review of a new pink blanket that I got to keep me warm at my desk while working from home or while lounging on my pink couch.
For starters, it’s no secret that I work from home curled up in my pink office chair typing away most days. But with the weather getting colder and winter on its way, I knew I wanted a nice warm throw to keep me warm while working.
After considering a few different throws, I decided upon this one; the Elegear Luxurious Fox Faux Fur Blanket.

This soft faux fur throw blanket is just the right size to keep me covered while working at my desk. In addition to this, the blanket is double sided.
The front side is pink and made of the latest imitated fox fur material. It’s really smooth and shouldn’t shed. The back, however, is made from sherpa fabric, which is thick and warm, just like my sherpa jumper. And, from experience, I can definitely tell you that it helps you to keep you warm.
In addition to this, warming technology is used for the blanket. Yes, that’s right. There is moisture-absorbing heating yarn in it, which can absorb the moisture generated by the human body.
As you spend more time with the throw around you, it will convert the moisture discharged from the body into heat to achieve rapid heating which helps to keep you warm throughout the night, or while working from home.
Another thing that I appreciate about this cozy throw is that it was packaged in not only plastic, but in a box as well. My oldest son fell in love with how soft it was and has been sneaking it away from my chair when I’m not there.

Luckily, they come in additional colors including blue, brown, grey. I just can’t see letting him have my pink one. I’m going to have to order him a blue one soon. It would make a great Christmas gift. I don’t think you can ever go wrong gifting someone a warm and cozy blanket.
Lastly, this throw is easy to care for and clean. You can choose to wash it by hand or simply toss it in the washing machine, just don’t dry clean it or bleach it.
