Why I Wrote My Christmas List

First and foremost, I know Christmas is not about the gifts. However, writing out Christmas lists was always something that brought us joy when we were younger. I remember my brothers and I would spend days collecting store ads and Christmas catalogs. We would write our Christmas lists over and over again until they were just right. Line after line with toys galore

Even if we only got one thing from our list or even nothing from the list at all, it would bring us so much excitement and joy by simply creating the lists.

Now, many years later, my boys get just as excited to write out their Christmas lists. Sometimes, they write out a few things and other times it’s a whole list of things. For example, my younger son has a long list of toys and games.

However, my teenage son only had one thing on his list, a gaming system. Whether I get things from their lists or not, I love having them because I can check out deals and see what’s a good fit. For example, Lenovo has a lot of desktop gaming deals while Walmart has a lot of the toys my younger son wants.

Nevertheless, creating their lists brought them pure joy and excitement, so I decided to not hold back and write out my ideal Christmas list and the reasons why I want the things I want.

So, here we go. Let’s check out the things from my Christmas list and why.

Kitchen Updates

If you have been following along for a while, you may have noticed more household posts, especially for the kitchen and dining room. That is because it is definitely time for a household refresh so I’ve been sharing more ideas and photos in those spaces.

To update our kitchen, I have decided on a teal theme and have added the items below to my Christmas list.

However, to update our household overall, I have been looking at living room, dining room and bedrooms sets.

Aside from updating the household with furniture and appliances, I have chosen some things specifically for me to have either at home or in my office. This part of the the list includes:

Lastly, I would like to read the following two success books during the beginning of the year. These include Waking Up in 5D and The Prosperity Bible.

Final Thoughts

Well, there you have it. A peek into my Christmas list and why I decided to write it out; out of pure joy. Whether I get any of the things or not, it felt good to simply not hold back and create a list of things that would bring some overall happiness.

Now, although this is a list of things, please do not discount the love, peace, protection, health prosperity, and happiness I wish for all.

When is the last time you created a Christmas list?
