Play Brainy Farm Animal Sorting and Stacking Toys
Enough about all of that. Let’s get into what you can expect from the toy set and how we incorporate learning and playing into our daughter’s day.
For starters, we want to make sure that we are creating a fun and active learning environment for our daughter, so this set certainly helps to reach that goal.
It has six animal toys included which are to be matched with six nesting boxes crafted of vinyl paper. The boxes are printed with large numbers and fancy objects on them for counting and recognition. Additionally, they are designed to help develop your child’s sensory skills and brain patterns as they learn colors, animals, and numbers through play.
Developmental Milestones
Not only this but, this set helps supports fine and gross motor development which helps our daughter meet and/or exceed her developmental milestones.
Our daughter cannot stand or walk just yet, so in the absence of that, we meet her where she is in her developmental stage and go from there.
Some ways we play with her with this toy set is by getting in the floor with her and letting her hold the farm animals while we say the word, name the color, and then make the sound that the farm animal would make.
As an example, I may say, “This is a sheep. The sheep is pink and fun. The pink sheep says, baaa!” To further the learning and play, I may continue with the following, “The pink sheep loves her green home in number 1”. Following the statement, we would place the pink sheep in her home of nesting box #1.
