National Brave Day & A Visit to Animal Kingdom

National Brave Day

National Brave Day honors women who lift each other up, rescue each other and make each other brave. So, today, in honor of National Brave Day, I want to recap my adventure to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida and talk about the brave women that I met on my trip.

Invitation-Only Media Event

Back in February of 2018, I was invited to attend an invitation-only media event for Disney-minded influencers at Animal Kingdom Lodge hosted by Instant Impressions. At that time, I had never been invited to an invitation-only media event, so I was just as nervous as I was excited because I had no idea what to expect. Not only that, but I had never been to Animal Kingdom Lodge before.

Upon arriving, I met other like minded women, as well as the host of the event, Sandy from Instant Impressions. That night we spent several hours in discussion talking about our passion for blogging, as well as our love of Disney before I returned to my room.

Although the event was hosted at Animal Kingdom Lodge, not everyone stayed the night there. For example, I stayed nearby at another resort which can be found through Orlandoresortsrental.com.

Throughout our time, I learned more and more about these women and how they were each so brave in continuing to push through barriers to pursue their ideal lives.

Sandy from Instant Impressions Travel Services

For example, this event was hosted by Sandy Nussbaum-Giercyk, owner of Instant Impressions Travel Services. Sandy is a woman business owner who took her passion and made it daily life when opening the agency 16 years ago.

Today, she leads a team of agents around the US offering no-fee concierge planning to clients around the world. In addition, Sandy is a top seller of Disney travel and travels the World with Disney.

During that year, she chose a handful of bloggers from the event to be brand ambassadors for her travel agency; I was one. It was so much fun collaborating with her on Disney adventures and ideas.

Girl Power? Lady Power? Woman Power?

In addition to meeting Sandy for the first time, I also met two well-known parenting and travel influencers; Jill from Ripped Jeans and Bifocals and Maria from Mamalicious Maria. Both women greatly enjoy the work that they do and have been honored by various esteemed publications and companies.

What I love about each of these women is that they are so brave in not only exploring the world and pushing through with their businesses, but also in how they share themselves through their blogs.

Lifestyle Blogging Topics

Both women are so bold and raw, and could care less what other people think of the lives (and lifestyle blogs) that they lead. Topics on their blogs range anywhere from parenting and travel, all the way to food reviews and clothing.

Speaking of clothing, I have been loving the beautiful clothing from Tianello.com. Have you heard of them?

I’ve even seen a few posts on weight loss. I always appreciate when women are honest about their weight and weight loss journey. I’ve personally picked up some information from https://livewellweightloss.ca/ with the intention of using the information to actually transform my body.

Final Thoughts

Anywho, I just wanted to take a moment and write about a few women that I have met along my life journey that really stood out to me as brave for charging through with life with a strong passion for creating their ultimate lives and sharing so much of themselves and their families through their blogs.

If you haven’t acknowledged another woman for National Brave Day, go ahead and do so now. What are you waiting for?
