A few weeks back, I wrote a post, Travel Essentials for Your Next Vacation. In that post, I talked about packing suitable clothing and accessories and gave a sneak peek of the Under the Canopy towel by Tesalate from Australia.
Here’s the thing.
Sometimes, I have all intentions of following my editorial calendar, but sometimes, I just need more time. And, this is what happened while reviewing this towel. I simply needed more time to experience it before I shared all the details with you in this post and in my first impressions unboxing video (posting soon).
So, let’s just back this bus on up a bit and chat a little bit about packing suitable clothing and accessories.
Pack Suitable Clothing and Accessories
If you are going on vacation, it is essential that you pack the right type of clothing for your trip. If you are going to be doing a lot of sightseeing, make sure you take appropriate shoes and clothing that will be comfy to walk around wearing throughout the day.
For example, think about going to a theme park. You will want to wear comfortable shoes, not heels or anything too fancy.
On the other hand, if you are just going on vacation to relax on the beach and sunbathe, then it would be better to pack a lot more swimwear, sandals, and towels – like this Under the Canopy sand-free towel by Tesalate.
But, here’s the thing. While this towel may have been made with the beach in mind, it’s not the only place that you can enjoy it and make great use of it.
Activities to Consider with Tesalate
For example, this towel is perfect for picnicking in the sand or on the grass; which is exactly how I used it. Since we had no travel adventures on the horizon, I took the towel out for a spin on our picnic last weekend.
I was pleasantly surprised that the grass and debris didn’t stick to it. It simply shook right off. So, I can imagine that this is how sand would do.
Another activity that I can see me using this towel with is camping and visiting theme parks. In each of these instances, you need towels, but you don’t want to lug around big heavy towels.
And, you won’t have to with towels from Tesalate because although they are full-sized beach towels, they fold up and pack away into a portable, drawstring bag. How convenient!
I seriously needed this for our trip to Legoland when the boys decided to get wet at the Legoland Waterpark and we didn’t have towels. This would have been perfect to have, but now I know moving forward.
Final Thoughts
Aside from function and being portable, I have to share my excitement about the designs. I am loving the Under the Canopy theme, but even more impressed that there is another design on the flip side of the towel. Talk about stylish! This is definitely a towel you want to pack on your next trip!
