Let’s keep this $250 Wedding series going. In today’s post, we are focusing our efforts on a guest list and sending out special invitations and announcements. Since the ceremony and reception comes with a small budget and there will be only a few friends and family in attendance, why not use Paperless Post Wedding Invitations and save on postage?
Paperless Post
Paperless Post is a company that focuses on trendy, design driven electronic stationary including invitations, birth announcements, wedding suites, etc.
Personally, I find it fancy that Paperless Post partners with leading fashion designers including Kate Spade New York, Kelly Wearstler, and Oscar de la Renta; just to name a few.
Check out a few below.
Free Paperless Post Options
Depending on your personal goal, you may choose free designs that can be sent without any premium options added. Do note that a free card can be sent to up to 2,000 email addresses. How awesome is that?
To search for free card designs, look for the “Free” filter on the left hand side of the page, or above the first card result.
While free cards can be sent to up to 2,000 email addresses, free cards also seem ideal when planning a small and intimate wedding on a budget.
Premium Paperless Post Options
However, if your budget allows, do splurge on the premium options. Because remember, you are celebrating an important life occasion.
Premium post options allow you to have more flexibility in design and customization. One of the big differences is that when selecting a card to use that is premium, you are charge “coins”. See below.
Coins
Coins can be used to purchase online cards and add premium options such as envelope liners and logos. For example, a customer could purchase 25 coins for $10 and have more options to customize their wedding invitations.
To purchase coins, simply log into your account and go to your “Dashboard”. From your Dashboard, you simply purchase the amount of coins you need for your special project.
How to Send Paperless Post Cards
After selecting and customizing your wedding invitations, they are ready to be emailed. From your Dashboard, you can create lists from your personal contacts. How convenient!
From there, you can track invitations in your “Post Box” which can also be found in your Dashboard.
Final Thoughts on Paperless Post
I would have never thought to send electronic wedding invitations until I began this $250 Wedding Micro Blog Series and learned more about Paperless Post.
Paperless Post is a creative and modern way to send wedding invitations (or any invitations) regardless of the budget you have to work with.
I’m personally looking forward to using my coins in my Dashboard to create a variety of invitations and announcements for our own upcoming family events.
Psst…I even sent out a few “boo-tiful” postcards to a few of my friends doing a Halloween countdown! Sooo fun!
What are your thoughts on sending electronic wedding invitations?
