Virtual Prego Expo & Swag Bag Review

Staying healthy during pregnancy and knowing which products to purchase for your new bundle of joy can be difficult when you’re faced with information and advice from every direction. But at the Virtual Prego Expo, you can find the answers to so many of your questions in one place.

So, if you have never been to a Virtual Prego Expo, sit back and relax, as I share some tips on making the most of your experience while attending and what to expect.

But, first, create a FREE baby registry on AMAZON!

What is the Virtual Prego Expo?

The Virtual Prego Expo is a three-day virtual event that I mentioned on the blog a while back. In my week 24 pregnancy bump update, I explained that I had learned about the Prego Expo on YouTube and knew that I wanted to participate.

Two stay-at-home moms and sisters-in-law have worked hard over the past few years to create the Prego Expo brand with the mission of putting together the most knowledgeable vendors, specialists, services, and products in one area.

Sam and Juliana want pregnant women to come in and learn something new or feel more settled in their planning, and I appreciate this – especially after starting over 12 years later.

Learn From Experts

Since I had never attended a virtual expo prior to this I had no idea what to expect, but I quickly caught on after attending the welcoming event on the first day. Overall, I spent three days actively engaged in multiple topics from various brands. A few sessions that I attended included a discussion on Postpartum Depression, Baby Wearing 101, and Montessori Home.

I also learned more about InspiraSpark’s Little Balance Box, the Yoomi Complete Bottle System, Happy Family Organics, and the Lorestry app – just to name a few.

To make the most of your experience, it really is in your best interest to participate in a number of different sessions, especially those areas that you may need a refresher on or topics that are completely new to you.

For example, I have saved a lot of pins on Pinterest about Montessori. Although I am highly interested, I had never taken the time out to fully research what it was. However, by me attending one of the sessions, I learned so much and got so many of my questions answered.

True Virtual Appreciation

Another aspect of attending the virtual expo was that I didn’t have to leave home and it was so engaging and fun. Although I didn’t know any of the attendees prior to the expo, I was able to learn names and connect and chat with other moms during the event when we entered the same sessions.

And, as an influencer, I was able to connect with other influencers, as well as brands – making this an all-around winning event!

After a few days of information, it was delightful to jump in and play pregnancy Bingo and also hear all of the winners announced! It was a lot of fun watching the chat and comments as people won!  I must say that the energy of the expo was contagious and it was nice seeing all the posts on social media.

Other Things to Note…

Whether you plan to attend the virtual event or the in-person event, I would strongly recommend that you order your tickets in advance. Don’t wait until the last minute.

Swag bags and prizes are limited and if that’s what you are interested in, you want to be sure to secure your ticker early on.

Connect with Brands

In addition to the opportunity to connect with various vendors, there is also an opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt resulting in a big prize for the winner.

The idea of the scavenger hunt was to give participants the opportunity to browse through all the vendor booths online offering the opportunity to connect with them and learn more about what they have to offer. In the midst of doing so, you learned about the brand and products/services and were able to find out the answer to the scavenger hunt.

If this experience is new to you, it’s important to keep in mind that visiting vendor booths is a fantastic way to learn about their company, product line, and services and get a feel for which brands and products might work best for your family.

Enjoy Your Swag Bag!

Lastly, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on that VIP swag bag! That’s how I learned about the Prego Expo; a young lady made a video of baby items that she had received during her pregnancy and shared that she had also attended the Prego Expo and shared some of the contents from her bag.

With this in mind, this post contains some of the products that were received in the swag bag. Keep in mind that not everything is shown in this post. Just know that this bag was literally filled to the rim with full-size goodies for both, mom and baby. Individual items and brands are tagged in my Prego Expo highlights – if you are interested.

What I appreciate about this swag bag is that it gives me the opportunity to fully try out products before I make the decision to purchase. Because remember, it’s been 12 years since my last baby.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Virtual Prego Expo and all that resulted from it. If the opportunity arises where there is an in-person Prego Expo near me, I’ll be sure to spend some time at that one as well for an in-person experience.

If you are interested in attending, check out the Prego Expo for upcoming dates.
