adidas Blog Review: adidas Cloudfoam Pure Women’s Running Shoes

I recently had the pleasure of putting my adidas Cloudfoam Pure Women’s Running Shoes to the test during a workout session at the Swissotel Fitness Center in Chicago, followed by a virtual 5K walk a few weeks later. Based on both experiences, I want to, of course, share my review here on the blog.

First Impressions and Unboxing

For starters, I did not seek out the adidas Cloudfoam Pure womens running shoes. Instead, they popped up in my feed before checkout and the Grey Two/Cloud White/Silver Metallic color scheme caught my eye. The color was subtle and I knew that wouldn’t compete with the #OOTD on any given day.

After reading through the description, I knew that I could see myself wearing these shoes for a variety of my fitness quests, whether that be at the gym or doing a virtual 5K as I do so often.

Once they arrived and I opened the box, I knew that I would enjoy wearing them because they are extremely lightweight and the soft, breathable upper material makes them easy to slip on.

Workout Performance at the Fitness Center

The first time that I wore them was at the fitness center at the Swissotel while I was in Chicago for a work conference. I walked on the treadmill for 45 minutes altering the incline. Once I had finished my treadmill workout, I stretched and headed to the shoulder press machine. Overall, I spent about an hour in the fitness center that morning.

From my initial experience, the adidas Cloudfoam Pure Women’s Running Shoes delivered comfort and support. The Cloudfoam midsole absorbed the impact with ease, allowing me to focus on my exercises without discomfort. The shoes’ flexibility enabled smooth transitions between movements, making them ideal for a variety of workouts.

Virtual 5K Walk, In-Person Rain Out

The following week after returning from the conference, I registered for a virtual 5K with an optional in-person walk. Unfortunately, the in-person walk was cancelled due to weather conditions leaving me to complete the 5K solo.

The walk was completed outside on a paved trail throughout a local park and took me approximately 50 minutes to complete. Hey, this is a no-judgment zone! Ha! So, don’t go saying that I walk too slowly. Sometimes, I get caught up in my thoughts and tend to just stroll, especially when I am alone.

I will say that for the virtual 5K walk, I was impressed by the shoes’ ability to handle the varying terrain and strides. The grippy outsole provided stability, while the cushioning ensured comfort. Overall, I would say that my feet remained supported throughout the walk.

Final Thoughts

In summary, the adidas Cloudfoam Pure Shoes met my expectations, offering comfort and performance while exercising in the fitness center and walking outdoors for the virtual 5K. With that being said, whether you’re hitting the gym or tackling your own virtual 5K, these shoes are an ideal choice for comfort and affordability.
