Speaking of holidays…Why not consider something a little different this year when planning your holiday vacation? It’s easy to slip into the habit of always doing the same thing in the same destination just because it works. However vacations are all about having new experiences and visiting different places.

If you feel as though you’re “stuck in a rut” with regards to how you spend your holidays, be a little creative and try something new!  If you and your family ever hear the “I’m bored” statement while you are on holiday vacation. Road Trip Adventure

Road trips are becoming ever more popular as a way to spend a vacation. People are attracted to the flexible nature of a road trip. You can choose your own route, taking in sights that you have always wanted to see, or travel along a famous road trip route such as Route 66 or Pacific highway.

You will need to hire a vehicle or use your own, but be sure to ensure you have enough space to accommodate all the passengers. It is worth researching these products, which will allow you to maximize storage offered by roof racks.

You will encounter many sights along your way and you can take part in the different activities offered. Your experiences will be diverse, one day you may be white water rafting and the following day you could be taking in a show.

How About a Safari

Many people have going on safari at the very top of their travel bucket list. Watching wild animals roaming in their natural habitat is a thrilling adventure.

Skipping the country and heading to Kenya is an excellent destination if you would like to experience the “classic” safari experience. You will be able to see lions, tigers, elephants, zebras,giraffes and wildebeest in the forests and grassy savannah.

Seeing such large animals when protected only by your 4×4 is an exciting experience. You could then opt to sleep under the stars in tents or opt for a more luxury lodge, Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed.

Skiing

Skiing is fun and exhilarating. It is also an excellent form of exercise, you will get aches from muscles you never knew existed! Speeding down slopes in stunning scenery is enough to fulfill the needs of the most serious of thrill seekers. If you are a novice you will be able to get expert tuition. Even young children will pick up skills quickly on the nursery slopes.

Skiing is excellent for promoting strength, balance and coordination. You will also reap the benefits of being outdoors in the fresh mountain air and return home refreshed.

    I agree it’s not good to do the same things over and over. You only live once and I believe you should explore as much as you can afford! I can’t wait to go on vacation again, and to try skiing once more.
