Chic Wedding Thank-You Cards

Since beginning this $250 Wedding Micro Blog Series, I’ve learned so many creative ways for creating a beautiful wedding on a really small budget. During this time, I also learned about Paperless Post; a creative way to send wedding invitations electronically – which is quite trendy.  But, there’s one thing that I prefer to be tangible and personalized; and that’s a well-written thank-you card.

Wouldn’t you agree?

So, in today’s post, we are reviewing these affordable and chic wedding thank-you cards and I’m giving you an idea of what kind of message to write inside.

Bulk Thank-You Cards

Let’s start with this 48 pack of chic and blank thank-you cards. These thank-you cards measure  4×6 inches once they have been folded. They come with adhesive brown craft envelopes and round seal stickers that read, “Thank You” to adorn the back of the envelope and add extra security.

This nice assortment of cards are made of a 100% recycled, heavy weight matte paper.

Six Designs

While some of these cards are being used as wedding thank-you cards, not all of them will be since there is a variety of six different designs. With a variety of cards, they can be tailored to all ages and for various occasions.

Designs include the following:

  • Gold Stripes
  • Gold Polka Dots
  • Black Stripes
  • Black Polka Dots
  • Turquoise Stripes
  • Turquoise Polka Dots

Below is an idea for what to write in your wedding thank-you card instead of just saying, “thanks”. Additional ideas can be found on Hallmark.

Dear Mom,

Thank you so much for being there and supporting us on our big day. I also appreciate you making our wedding cake with my favorite strawberry birthday frosting. Another reason why I love you so much!

I love you!

Final Thoughts

While electronic thank-yous have their place in the world, I’m a firm believer in a tangible and well-written thank-you card. While your message doesn;t have to be as long as the example, it’s important to share something meaningful in it so that the receivers knows that the token of thought was genuine and much appreciated.

As an added gesture, adorn the envelope with calligraphy and/or beautiful postage stamps for mailing.
