As the year draws to a close, I’m reflecting on the importance of decisiveness, which is what Make Up Your Mind Day on December 31st is all about. This national day encourages us to quit wavering, make clear choices, and commit to them wholeheartedly. As we end this year, I’ve decided to embrace the spirit of the day and make up my mind about how I want to live my life moving forward.
Here are three major commitments I’m making as I enter the new year:
1 – Earning More to Save, Invest, and Travel
Financial freedom has been on my mind lately, as you may have gathered from a previous post about the books that I have been reading over winter break including The Psychology of Money. I’ve decided that 2025 is the year to focus on earning more so I can build a more secure future for myself and my family. Whether it’s saving for unexpected expenses, investing for long-term growth, or funding our upcoming travels (hello, Route 66!), having a solid financial plan is my priority.
2 – Living Life Differently
In 2025, I’m focusing on living more intentionally—prioritizing how my life feels over how it looks to others. This means the following for me:
- Reading more books to nourish my mind (I’m almost done with The Psychology of Money).
- Traveling more beginning this summer.
- Drinking more water and incorporating supplements to support my health.
- Dressing better to feel more confident and polished.
- Committing to daily blog posts to share my journey, insights, and adventures with you all.
3 – Focusing on My Health
My health and wellness goals go beyond the typical “eat better, exercise more” mantra. I’ve decided to be more proactive about my wellness, starting with supplements. I’ll begin the year with two products from NutraHarmony, available on Amazon. Their Biotin capsules will support my hair, skin, and nails, while the B12 drops will boost my energy and metabolism—both are necessary for the busy year ahead.
I also want to try a good nootropic brain supplement and greens powder. I ordered some ACEWORKZ 10 Mushroom Complex Supplements from Amazon earlier in the year, but have not been consistent with this as much as I had been with my Haelan Greens Powder+ which I thoroughly enjoyed. You can read more about the greens powder from my post on improving my health.
While I do plan on finishing the nootropics that I have, I am also open to exploring other options, such as more products from NutraHarmony.
Speaking of which, here’s a bit about the two products I ordered the start the year off with.
NutraHarmony’s Biotin Drops
NutraHarmony’s Biotin are designed to support healthy hair, skin, and nails. Each serving contains a potent dose of biotin, a B-vitamin essential for keratin production, which can enhance hair strength and promote nail growth.
NutraHarmony’s Vitamin B12 Drops
NutraHarmony’s Vitamin B12 drops are a convenient and effective way to support your energy levels and overall health. These USDA Organic B12 Sublingual Drops are designed for quick absorption under the tongue, delivering a potent dose of this essential vitamin to help combat fatigue and support a healthy nervous system.
