As I have been reading the 5 Love Languages, I have been increasingly mindful of how I communicate with others. Through our interaction, I try to identify their love language or communication language.

For example, do they enjoy focused quality time like my boys, or do they prefer gift giving and receiving?

As I have been thinking more about this, I have taken a deeper look into my own love language and things that I prefer. While receiving gifts is not my top love language, I have to admit, I do love receiving and giving flowers.

Garfield Park Conservatory

I simply love flowers.

Thinking back over 2018 alone, I can count at least 10 times I have either given flowers or receive flowers. And, in each situation it has only brought happiness.

For example, I received beautiful flowers from my youngest brother on Easter. He really brightened my day. My mom surprised me with flowers on Mother’s Day. I sent flowers to my sons’ Grandmother and my mom a few months back, Just Because. And, I even gathered up our staff to pitch in for some Stargazer Lilies for our Director’s birthday at work last month.

Weren’t they lovely?

But, here’s the thing I often run into, choosing where to order them from.

Well, guess what?

I won’t have that problem anymore because I just learned about Instacart.

Instacart

Instacart is a great grocery shopping service for parents on the go because the app allows you to shop from anywhere using your computer, iPhone, iPad or Android device.

You can then choose to either have your groceries or floral needs delivered or go and pick them up at a participating location such as CVS, Safeway, or even Whole Foods.

Your items are carefully chosen by personal Instacart shoppers.

Instacart Personal Shoppers fulfill your orders from the store you’ve chosen and will carefully select all your items and handle any items that are out of stock.

Final Thoughts

With all that being said, learning about Instacart is exciting to me for my floral needs because I am not forced to choose high-priced floral bouquets. Instead, for a nominal fee, I can get creative and choose from a variety of plants and floral arrangements such as Mason Jar Bouquets, Roses, Lilies, and Assorted Succulents, just to name a few.

If you are interested in learning more about this great shopping service for both, groceries and your floral needs, go ahead and visit Instacart now.

Laura, I think sunflowers are beautiful. I tried growing some this summer, but it didn’t work out for me. Maybe next year! 🙂
