What’s life without a little fun? We’re here for a good time, not a long time! I’m sure that you’ve heard that quote before. With it in mind, I’m sharing a fun Sunday afternoon my daughter and I had. I dressed her up in an avocado costume that I planned for her to wear on Halloween, but we never got her dressed as the little avocado.
In the meantime, I found the cutest avocado muslin blanket and Nuby teether – all on Amazon. It all made the look come together so well! Unisex Avocado Costume (All 5 Star Reviews)
As I mentioned before, I ordered this unisex avocado costume as my daughter’s Halloween costume, only she didn’t get a chance to wear it until weeks later. It fits as it should and is warm and adorable. Keep in mind that the body suit shown here came separately.
However, there are long socks that come along with it and the hood is simply adorable! Also a word of caution, there are no snaps for changing the diaper. Instead, you have to pull the costume up over the baby or pull it down to take off.
Avocado and Banana Muslin Swaddle Blanket
This is the most adorable avocado muslin blanket. Yes, it is thin, but most muslin blankets are. It’s enormous in size and attractive. After using it with her costume, I have been using it as a bath blanket because muslin blankets are great for keeping the baby warm in the bath.
Nuby Silicone Avocado Teether with Spinning Wood Seed – 3+ Months
As I planned the additions to my daughter’s costume, I came across this Nuby avocado teether. I was so excited because I have always loved Nuby products. I used a variety of them with my older two boys.
Not only was this teether cute and matched the costume, but it was right on time as our daughter started teething at three months.
In addition, I love how the teether is the shape and color of an avocado and has a wooden nut in the center. The wood seed spins, stimulating the baby’s fine motor skills and helping develop hand-eye coordination. So, it is not only a teether but a sensory toy, as well. Additionally, the ridges on the teether make it easy for babies to grip.
