Igloo Marine Ultra Black and White Cooler Bag Review

In preparation for spending the day at the Indy 500, we needed to find a nice cooler that was no larger than 18”x 14”x 14”.  And, we found it! So, today you’re getting a review of the Igloo Marine Ultra White & Black Square 24 Cooler Bag.

In my search for the perfect cooler, I stumbled upon this one and was immediately drawn to it. It was perfect! It fit within the dimensions given by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, fit the racing theme, and looked sleek and modern.

Psst…My man looked so handsome carrying it around.

Sadly, the bag was not available in stores but could be purchased online and shipped within two days. Whew. I immediately placed my order and it arrived Saturday, right in time for us to pack it up and have it ready for Sunday.

So, let’s talk about this trendy looking cooler; shall we?!

Igloo Marine Ultra Cooler Bag Review

Aside from the obvious design and colors of black and white, the outside of the cooler is easy-to-clean and includes both anti-mildew and UV protection which we appreciate.

It is said to keep contents cold for up to two days with it’s thick insulation. So far, so good. The day following our day trip, our drinks were still cold and ice was still in the cooler! Yayy!

While we used our cooler for a combination of drinks, the cooler could be used solely for 24 (8 oz) cans of whatever beverage you choose. Also, please note that you cannot take glass bottles into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The top of the cooler allows for you to tuck or store additional items such as paper towels or small plates. The bottom of the cooler has non-slip feet with Cool Riser Technology which is said to prevent the cooler from sliding in wet conditions.

Speaking of wet conditions, the hardware is non-corrosive and made to survive harsh marine conditions – meaning, you can take this cooler just about anywhere.

Final Thoughts

Not only is the Igloo Marine Ultra Cooler Bag functional with a sleek design, it’s affordable with an average cost of less than $25. It was a very fashionable cooler to take with us to the Indy 500 this past weekend and will also be great to use this summer for day trips, picnics, the beach, etc.

For so long, my pink Igloo cooler has been my jam, but this one may be my new favorite!

What’s your favorite cooler?
