This blog has been around just over 10 years now. In the midst of those 10 years, my two boys have participated in the Challenger International Soccer Camp multiple summers. Families and players have trusted Challenger Camps for over 30 years as North America’s largest soccer camp provider. Nowadays, my oldest son is grown, and my youngest son has transitioned from soccer to basketball, so they won’t be participating in soccer camps anymore. However, my pre-k daughter will be.

Challenger International Soccer Summer Camp
The Challenger International Soccer Camps are the most popular soccer camp in the United States. The camps offer an innovative curriculum that develops skills, speed, and confidence in players ages 3-18. With my daughter turning three soon, this is the ideal summer camp to get her introduced to the sport of soccer especially if the TinyTykes program is available.

TinyTykes
The TinyTykes program was created by childcare specialists to introduce children aged 2–5 years old to the basic skills of soccer through a series of fun games, stories, songs, and skill-building activities. In addition, children explore and learn in a relaxed and fun environment, building upon their motor, social, physical, and emotional skills, making this an ideal summer program for my daughter.

What to Expect at the Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp
From our experience, the process is fairly straightforward. Upon arrival and departure, campers must be signed in and out by a parent. If someone other than the parent will be picking up the child, an authorization release form must be submitted on the first day. I truly appreciate these safety measures.
On the first day, after signing in, campers receive their assigned balls based on their age at registration, ensuring each camper has the appropriate size. Once everyone has their ball, training and drills begin.
In previous years, we have typically chosen the full-day, week-long camp summer camp experience created for kids of all ages and ability levels.
Most camps conclude with a closing ceremony.
Weather Precautions and What to Bring
Throughout the day, campers take multiple water breaks to stay hydrated in the summer heat. It’s essential to pack sunscreen, bug repellent, and plenty of water to keep your child comfortable in high temperatures.
Additionally, make sure your child has the proper soccer gear, including cleats and shin guards. And, as a parent, if you are planning to stay and watch, be sure to bring a lawn blanket or comfortable portable chair along with your own water, snacks, and a camera to capture some of those amazing moments.
