Anywho, let’s jump into this outfit and chat a bit about why I wear it repeatedly. First things first.
When it comes to making a lasting impression at the workplace, having a well-curated outfit can speak volumes about your confidence and professionalism.
Not only this, but I work in Career Services which means my appearance matters. If I am offering career advice, I need to not only talk the talk but walk the walk. Wouldn’t you agree?
This classic workday #OOTD, short for “Outfit of the Day,” is one of my go-to’s for an effortless outfit that can in some ways command attention while staying true to timeless fashion choices.
This ensemble embraces sophistication and versatility, making it an ideal choice for those days when I want to exude a combination of elegance and authority. With this in mind, let’s have a look at each piece.

Completing this outfit are the black Journee ballet flats (similar black flats). These are somewhat newer, come in multiple colors, and are trending across retail platforms such as JCPenny and DSW. Comfortable yet stylish, these flats provide the perfect balance between a busy work schedule and a fashion-forward appearance.
