While this Precious Moments figurine can generally be called a healthcare worker, I’m claiming that it is a nurse, especially since I ordered it to represent my brother Diego who is an EMT and studying to become a registered nurse (RN).
While nursing may not seem as glamorous as its doctor counterpart, nurses are essential to the work done within healthcare institutions. Nurses are special people who are making a difference every day.
And, not everyone is suited to take on the role due to the sheer amount of work, pressure, and emotions it can bring. However, for those who do want to embark on this path, they are deeply appreciated.
Appreciation Gifts, Making a Difference Everyday
Speaking of appreciation, I appreciate how Precious Moments offers a variety of appreciation gifts such as these. While this would make an ideal token of appreciation for a current nurse, I am gifting this to my brother as motivation on his nursing journey. My hope is that every time he looks at this figurine, he is reminded to keep going.
In fact, last year for Christmas, one of the gifts that I gifted him was a hand-painted resin Christmas ornament. The ornament was a beautiful, blue bear dressed as a male nurse. It was a very similar gift to this one.

What I adore most about this Precious Moments figurine is that it is one of the figurines that come with darker skin and hair. The You’re My Hero Black Hair, Medium Skin Boy Figurine is a great representation of my brother with his skin tone and hair color.
Having a variety of skin tones and hair colors is so important to consumers who are wanting to purchase figurines for themselves or to gift to others. People love being able to identify with their gifts.
In fact, several months back, I reviewed the Precious Moments You Rock! Figurine. I fell in love with it because it reminded me of my daughter, A’leigh who passed away. I felt the figurine fully embodied what her personality would have evolved to.
Nursing Motivation
Aside from skin tone and hair color, I love the nursing motivation that this 6-inch figurine embodies. This young man has a stethoscope around his neck, his face mask securely in place, and a clipboard in hand, obviously exhibiting that his number one priority is the health and safety of those relying on him.
