Positive Relationships + 5 Thoughts of Gratitude

Over the past week, I have been filled with so much gratitude on so many different levels, but mainly as a result of the relationships I have with people. I don’t know if it was the vibrations from the solar eclipse or just me continuing to be more intentional regarding the relationships that I have.

But, regardless of the reason behind it, I am grateful; which brings me to today’s 5 Thoughts of Gratitude.

In this very moment, what are you thankful for?

1. Parents and Grandparents

I am thankful for my parents (grandparents); not just today but everyday.

Just today, my dad came by my office and bought me lunch. It felt so good because life has been so busy lately with work, school, and football, that it has been hard to keep up with all the familial relationships.

But, even through the business my parents are still there. They both even came to cheer on my sons at Saturday’s football games even though I gave them such short notice (as in hours before the game). With Older Persons Day being October 1st and Grandparents Day being September 10th, I want to make sure that we do something special for all of the boys’ grandparents.

2. Friends

I am thankful for my college roommate and friend, T.  Whether it is just a daily check-in or a head on life crisis, she’s there and I appreciate that so much!

3. Blog Partnerships

I continue to be thankful for the partnerships and collaborations made from Just Brennon. There are always such neat opportunities that allow a creative mind such as my own to get fully creative, experience something new, and spread the word about whatever it may be.

Not only that, I am fortunate enough to meet and connect with so many new people that I would have never had the opportunity to do so had it not been for this blog, Just Brennon.

4. My Children

I am thankful that I have two, awesome boys that continue to try and do their best.

They are not perfect children and I am not a perfect mother. However, everyday, we get up, move through the day, and do it with a grateful heart. Because, the truth is. It could be worse and it’s not.

5. Work Environment

I am thankful for the people I work with. I hear so many people complaining about the people that they work with. But, in our department, we are blessed to work with a small team that actually gets along and looks out for one another. TEAM actually means something to us. So, it makes being together 8 hours a day more of a joy and less of a burden.

So, what are you thankful for in this very moment?
