Summer Fun at Your Finger Tips with Plays.org

Typically, when I think of summer family fun, I think of the month of August. The month of August is not only Back to School Month, but it’s also Family Fun Month, so definitely keep this on your radar. However, since it is not August, let’s talk about some summer fun at your finger tips with plays.org.

Just recently, my 10 year old got his first phone that was new and not a hand-me down phone. He was thrilled. In fact, he still is. With him being young, he didn’t get a high-tech iPhone or anything, we simply went with a phone that was within our budget for a 10 year old at a local mobile phone service store.

In addition to this, we simply added him a line on my oldest son’s phone plan, keeping the monthly cost well within our budget.

Games and Phone Cases

As we were in the store having the phone set-up, he asked if he could get a phone case. And, since we were well within our budget, I said, yes. He was so excited because not only did he get his phone, but he was also able to pick out a phone case to go with his phone.

And since he enjoys playing games, so much, he went with a Plays.org Brick Out style phone cover which represents his love of gaming.

Once his phone was set up and his phone cover was in place, he asked what kind of data plan he had, so that he could play some of his favorite games including those on plays.org.

Plays.org

If you are unfamiliar with plays.org, plays.org is a site which offers free and fun online games which can quickly be played from the browser whether you are on your computer, tablet, or phone like my son.

What we love about plays.org is that it is the opposite of what many of the other gaming sites are. For example, there are no status symbols or paid upgrades. The games are simply fun and do not aim to alter your identity or establish addictive loops. For this, I am thankful.

Additionally, there is no need to download any apps to play. I appreciate this so much because you can jump in a game and then jump out, and the games aren’t taking up so much space on your phone.

Quality Fun Time Together

Additionally, I appreciate that it’s a fun way to spend quality fun time together with your family. My son loves quality time and of course, his phone. With plays.org, we can chill on the couch or in bed, play a fun game together and talk while we are playing. And, with over 150 games on the site and games being added daily, you are sure to find a game that you enjoy.

Final Thoughts

Lastly, some of our favorite includes Space Words Online Spelling Practice Game to help with spelling in a fun way, Brick Out – Breakout Arcade Game Inspired Brick Breaker and the Super Balloon Bomb: Bomberman Inspired Game.

If you are looking for something fun to keep yourself or your children busy this summer, consider checking out plays.org.
