Traveling with WildRoot Natural Deodorant

I’ll never forget being about 10 years old and my mom wanted my brothers and I to switch from regular deodorant to something natural. It was supposed to be an all natural deodorant and it looked like a crystal rock. We were supposed to wet the crystal rock and swipe it a few times under our arms. Needless to say, that process didn’t last long for us and we were right back to our regular deodorants.

Here it is, light years later and now my youngest son will soon be 10 and now I want my boys to switch from their regular deodorant to a natural deodorant. Isn’t it funny how history tends to repeat itself?

So, what better way to really give a natural deodorant a try than on the go!

Traveling with WildRoot Natural Deodorant

During our Christmas road trip to New York, I was sure to take my Wildflower WildRoot Natural Deodorant and my son took his Citrus Leaf WildRoot Natural Deodorant.

WildRoot is All-Natural, Aluminum and Toxin-Free.

Our travel to New York was a lot of fun and family oriented, but with a very intense schedule. Read more about it in my New York Travel Diary Post.

While we had been using it for about a week before the trip, we made sure that we took it with us to make sure it was a deodorant that held up during some of the busiest times in life. And, what do you know? It held up very well for us.

Wildflower WildRoot Natural Deodorant

Wildflower which is made of Lavender and Ylang Ylang is carried in the Sensitive Line – which has no baking soda. There is also Meadow  which is made of Lemongrass and Mandarin and an Unscented Sensitive deodorant.

I love the clean, fresh smell of the deodorant, as well as sleek packaging. It really speaks for the deodorant and brand. Simple, clean, and sleek.

Citrus Leaf WildRoot Natural Deodorant

Citrus Leaf which is made of Lime and Sage is one that is carried in the Performance Line.  My son desperately needs the Performance Line. There are also two other scents which include Wildflower (Lavender and Ylang Ylang) and Tall Pine (Cedarwood and Pine).

With the variety of scent variations, I am sure you will find a scent that you enjoy. And, if scented deodorants aren’t your thing, simply shoot for the Unscented.

Who and What is WildRoot?

WildRoot is a new company founded by Jenny Veldkamp that carries an Aluminum and Paraben-Free All Natural Deodorant. WildRoot is also a sister company to Simply Earth which I collaborated with in September for Self-Care Awareness Month.

I had the opportunity to review the September Essential Oil Recipe Box which included six lovely essential oil recipes perfect for including in your own personal self-care routine. I’ve created so many skin care recipes with that one box!

Final Thoughts & Giveaway

On another note, switching to WildRoot Natural Deodorant has been a wise decision for us and we plan to continue using it whether we are traveling or not.

If you would like to learn more about transitioning to natural deodorant, I’ve included two PDFs courtesy of WildRoot. Thank you, Jenny!

It’s really important for me to include these PDFs because some of the most valuable feedback that I received this past year from readers was that they wanted instructions and additional information uploaded into the posts.
