2 out of 10 of the Coolest Museums in the US

Neon Museum

Today I read a post about the 10 Coolest Museums in the US. As I read through the list, I got pretty excited because we have knocked out 2 out of the 10!

Whoohoo!

The two that we have experienced include the World of Coca Cola in Atlanta, Georgia and the Neon Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada. For each of those museums, I have written blog posts that give you tips for when you visit, if you haven’t already.

Simply check out the links within this post.

One thing that stands out most in my mind about the World of Coca Cola is that it is very interactive and entertaining. We were busy the entire time we were there. From the moment we entered we were being served a Coke, given history on Coca Cola, etc.

In the midst of our visit, we were taking photos with the Coca Cola Bear and watching magic tricks as we waited. From there we were sampling sodas from around the world and checking out memorabilia over the decades. The activities continued until the very end when we found ourselves shopping for souvenirs prior to exiting.

I don’t know that we will ever make it there again, but I’m glad that we were able to have the experience at least once.

Being the Pinterest Addict that I am, it was a no brainer that the Neon Museum had been sitting on my Bucket List for about a year before I was finally able to make it.

When we did make it, it was not the best experience for me because I took two, hot, and tired little boys with me. Sigh. These little guys were not trying to hear anything on the guided tour, they mostly kept frowns on their faces, and were intrigued by standing on the rocks that you are not supposed to stand on. I did however manage to snag a few smiling face photos.

On a later trip to Las vegas, I attempted to go again, but didn’t make it. My hope is that I will get there, again and go with an adult or solo so that I can fully enjoy the experience.

Final Thoughts

As for the other museums listed, I can’t honestly say I have plans on ever going to any of them. That is not to say that I will not. I’m just saying these are not on any Bucket Lists of mine at the moment.

However, if you would like to check out museums that I think are cool, check out my post, 7 Museums You Must Visit at least Once.
