I get so excited to share different looks and fashion on the blog, especially around the holidays. With this in mind, I’m excited to share two outfits from this year’s Christmas haul from rue21.
If you are unfamiliar, rue21 is an American specialty retailer that offers affordable and trendy clothes for both girls and guys. What’s even better is that they offer trendy and affordable clothing in plus sizes, as well. Thank you, rue 21. In addition, clothes are designed to appeal to people who desire, wish, or feel to be 21. Ahhh, to be 21 again!
For this year’s haul, I carefully selected three affordable and complete outfits to share with you. But, I am only sharing two in today’s post. Each outfit is perfect for attending holiday parties throughout the season.
Outfit #1 – Plus Red Flannel Crop Sweater + Plus Black Faux Leather Pleated Seam Pants + Plus White Graffiti Print Hooded Puffer Jacket
With red flannel being a traditional holiday theme, I couldn’t resist adding this Plus Red Flannel Crop Sweater to my cart. I wanted this look to be complete and spicy for the holidays, so I searched for pants options that were not jeans and came across these Plus Black Faux Leather Pleated Seam Pants. I knew that with a pair of knee-high boots, this would make the ultimate cozy, holiday outfit.
It came together well with some red, white, and green holiday jewelry and this Plus White Graffiti Print Hooded Puffer Jacket. Each piece of this outfit came from the new arrivals from rue21.
What I appreciate about this outfit is that not only is it stylish, but it’s comfortable, affordable, and each piece is interchangeable and can be mixed and matched with other pieces from my previous rue21 holiday haul, Sleighing for the Holidays.
Outfit #2 – Plus Black Velvet Button Down Dress + Plus White Graffiti Print Hooded Puffer Jacket
Speaking of the pieces being interchangeable. I was able to pair the Plus Black Faux Leather Pleated Seam Pants with the Plus Black Velvet Button Down Dress since the weather is a bit cold out.
It came together rather well with the same jewelry, my knee-high boots, and the Plus White Graffiti Print Hooded Puffer Jacket (which can be seen on Instagram).
When styling this outfit, I chose to remove the belt that came with the dress and replace it with my favorite black and gold belt that matches with my black and gold boots for a complete holiday look, perfect for a holiday party or event.
