As you may have read in recent posts, over the past few months, we have really been preparing for if SHTF or just in case there is an emergency. Keeping this tucked in the corner of my mind, I have shared about the emergency tote and emergency bags that I put in place earlier in the year, the baby emergency bag for our daughter, and the Vioview Pink Emergency Survival and First Aid Kit.
And, while most of what we needed is packed, there are still items that we need such as an emergency power station or a generator. Thankfully, I was able to secure this new Enernova 300W Portable Power Station that I found on Amazon which brings me peace of mind.
Update: This post will give you my initial thoughts on this portable power station. However, as of 7.4.24, we have taking this on a campervan road trip and couldn’t be more satisfied. For that reason, I am updating this post with some actual photos of being in use at our campground site at Platte River Campground at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
Enernova 300W Portable Power Station
To begin, this is my second power station from Amazon. About a month back, I purchased a blue one that I thought would be exactly what we needed. However, when I opened it and read the instructions, it was far less that what we needed.
For example, it did not have any AC outlets, and we certainly needed at least one. With this one, we get two. In addition, we needed a generator that was solar powered and had enough power for some small appliances – mostly in regards to the baby’s needs in an emergency.
The Enernova Emergency Power Station has all the ports you need to charge your devices, including 2* AC output, 2*DC output, 1*Cigar lighter port, 1*DC input, 1*QC 3.0 fast charging, 2*USB ports (5V 2.4A), 1*Type-C port. Power your smartphone, laptop, camera, drone, fan, car appliance, CPAP, etc. at any time. This would also include bottle warmers, breast pumps, etc.
In addition to the power options, with the Enernova 300W Portable Power Station, we get the option of it being solar powered.

When and Where to Use
The power station body is made of a pressure-resistant high-strength plastic shell and equipped with a foldable handle, which is soft and portable. With it being compact, it can make good use of space and even be used on road trips, camping trips, etc. which is just right for us. So, even if there is no emergency situation, we are still able to use the power station on all of our adventures – making this a win-win product.

Other Features I Appreciate
Aside from having the AC outlet, the option for solar, and it being compact, I appreciate the low battery alarms and temperature alarms that are able to protect our usage with the power station. Lastly, the Enernova outdoor power station is equipped with an LED flashlight which will be helpful during the night, during emergencies, and under low-light conditions.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Enernova 300W Portable Power Station is exactly what we were looking for for our emergency preparedness efforts. This station is powerful enough to meet all kinds of power needs for home, travel, camping, and long outdoor journey use. It weighs in at only 7.7 lbs and can easily put it in our backpack or car and carry it anywhere we need power.
