Over the past few months, we have really been preparing for if SHTF or just in case there is an emergency. With this in mind, you may have read about the emergency tote and emergency bags that I put in place earlier in the year.
Following that, I made a baby emergency bag for our daughter. About a month later, we put together an emergency food tote. We really don’t have room for an entire food pantry, so a few totes will have to do.

This kit includes a lot of what I already have such as a poncho, flashlight, and some first aid supplies, but it also includes a ton of things that I don’t have yet such as a 14-in-1 Multifunction Saber Card and Tactical Knife.

The reason being, our plan would be to first hunker down at home, and our second plan would be to evacuate by grabbing everything and leaving our home. If we had to choose option two, the emergency kit would already be in the car.
And, if no emergency were to ever occur at home, it’s always great to have an emergency kit such as this in your car for emergencies, camping, or even if you need to get home. Keeping it in the car ensures that I’m never caught without the supplies I need.

The bag is also pink (my favorite color) which makes it easy to find in an emergency situation and of course, adorable.
Aside from that, I fully believe that this is a great kit for women to have handy, whether they keep it at home or in the car. It also makes a great and meaningful gift for the ladies in your life. It’s lightweight and easy to carry.
