An Everyday Summer Bucket List for Mamas + Free Printable

For starters, I have been making so many summer lists including an Everyday Summer Bucket List, Summer 2021 Things to Get Done, Beauty Content Ideas for my new Instagram and New Summer Content. Whew! I’ve also made Summer Lists for each of my sons.

Since life is opening back up and we won’t be cooped up in the house as much, it has been a great idea to have a list of things to do to keep us busy when we are feeling bored and in the house.

Side Note| The Everyday Summer Bucket List for Mamas is at the bottom of this post.

Teenage Boy Summer Bucket List

For example, for my teenage son a few things that I have listed when he’s not working his two days a week is to fix his bike, ride his bike, work out and/or read for 30 minutes a day. There are some other fun things on there, but these are just a few everyday things that he can do to keep himself productive (and, off of his game system).

Tween Boy Summer Bucket List

For my youngest son, a few things I have listed for him include riding his scooter, practicing his bike riding, playing basketball, making snow cones and/or reading 30 minutes a day.

Again, there are some other fun things on there like going to the beach, but these are just a few everyday things that he can do to keep himself productive and active (and, off of his game system). He’s also enrolled in a few one week summer camps including summer soccer.

Vacation Bible School

During some past summers, the boys have participated in vacation bible school. Vacation Bible School has always been a favorite of mine for children and for myself growing up throughout the years.

An Everyday Summer Bucket List for Mamas – Right Here!

For myself, I created an Everyday Summer Bucket List with things to do once per day or when I’m feeling bored. The list is extremely affordable and practical. In fact, it could actually make for an entire summer of simple pleasures.

For example, over the past few summers I have stocked up on fun summer supplies such as flamingo plates and cups, pineapple glasses with a matching pineapple drink dispenser, etc. So, one thing to do is decorate the patio table and have brunch – like we did here. How simple and enjoyable?

Aside from stocking up on summer items when I’m out, I’ve received a lot of gifts over the years and have yet to use them including makeup and skin care products, workout equipment and a wine decanter set, just to name a few. My goal is to use them.

So often we tend to wait for a special occasion. After losing our daughter last month, I have learned that now IS the special occasion. We are alive and well and living life. I’m going to “cheers” to that and break open all the things that have been just sitting around waiting to be used.

In addition, I put some past interests and passions on the list to simply revisit them. For example, baking cupcakes. I have not baked cakes or cupcakes in years…at least three. So, you would never know that I attended three Wilton cake courses, Levels 1, 2 and 3 and am actually pretty good.

Speaking of which, now you don’t even have to go to classes because they offer the student kits online at Amazon, so you can do them in the comfort of your own home.

Anywho, I’m not sure why I stopped, but it would be nice to take an afternoon, relax, bake and decorate some cupcakes.

Well, of course there is more where all of that comes from, but I’ll stop there. For those who love printables, here you go! I’ve made a quick one for you to download as a PDF.
