Every year, I always make New Year resolutions and a vision board. And, every year, exercise more and weight loss always makes its way on the list, as well as the board. But this year, after all of these years, I have decided to do things differently.
Instead of solid goals, I am focusing on a theme of health and wellness. I want to just make sure that I am happy doing the things that I do. So, instead of focusing on some many 5K walks and runs, the gym, the treadmill, workout dvds, etc. I decided to go with different fitness ideas beginning with some fun exercise with Leaps & ReBounds.
What is Leaps & ReBounds?
Leaps & ReBounds sells quality, mini fitness trampolines and accessories. These trampolines are not only great for exercise and staying fit, but are also great for your mental health and overall health.
Taking time out to bounce (or rebound) each day can lead to major positive effects on your overall health. For example, rebounding can reduce the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, stress levels, depression and weight loss, just to name a few.
What I appreciate most about the Leaps & ReBounds fitness trampoline is that it is ideal for the entire family. For example, when we first put it together, not only did I bounce on it, but my son really enjoyed it.
For him, he feels as if it is a nice alternative to when he wants to go to the trampoline parks and can’t. In addition to this, this particular style (48 inches) can hold up to 270 pounds which is perfect for each person in our household. Please, check for other sizes.
After jumping, we both felt great and happy. So, I can see this as a long term solution to fun and exercise within our household.
Unboxing and Set-Up
Now, let’s talk about the unboxing and the set-up. The box arrived by mail and was not as heavy as you may think. Yes, the box is large, however, lifting and moving it can be done with one person.
Upon unboxing, it is important to take everything out of the packaging, but do not discard anything until you have fully set up the trampoline.
Read the Instructions
In addition to this, be sure to read the instructions. There is a red tool that will assist you in putting the bungees on. In addition to this, pay close attention to how they tell you to start. It will make the assembly so much easier.
Putting the trampoline together solo took me less than 30 minutes.
I want to point out a note of caution for you.
When I went to screw on each of the legs, one would not screw on. For whatever reason, I immediately knew to take the cap off of one end and try that end and it worked perfectly. Sometimes, minor things like this happen.
I am including this because it may save someone some frustration later. There is no need to contact the company for a replacement or replacement leg. First simply try the other end of the leg. I’m sure this is a rare instance, but just in case, I hope this helps.
Final Thoughts
From our time in using the Leaps & ReBounds mini fitness trampoline, I can tell you that it is a great fit for our entire household and not just for me specifically. Had I known that this would be for our entire family, I would have chosen another color, aside from pink. I love pink, however, I would have chosen one of the other colors offered such as blue, purple or green.
