Benefits of Switching Up My Jump Rope to Here Rope

Staying healthy is extremely important to me. As a matter of fact, staying active is an activity that benefits everyone’s mental and physical health. And, I don’t mean taking things to the extreme. I simply mean being intentional each day in regards to eating well and exercising.

Benefits of Jumping Rope

Jumping rope was never something that was a passion of mine. I only did it occasionally, but for this past summer, I decided to incorporate it into my fitness routine to burn extra calories faster and to also increase the elasticity and resiliency of lower-leg muscles and gain more of my flexibility back. So, right after I finished my three-mile walk, I ended the workout routine with jumping rope. 

Just so you know, jumping rope can help increase the intensity of circuit-training workouts and other workouts. Jump ropes are also extremely portable and are ideal for working out on the go and while traveling. They are also a great piece of fitness gear to have in your home gym.

My first jump rope was a nylon jump rope with wooden handles. That particular jump rope was supposed to be used for gym or playground activities. I’m not sure that it was supposed to be used for everyday fitness. So, it didn’t work out like I would have liked it too.

Following that jump rope, I decided upon another jump rope that I picked up while at Ross. It was pink, cute, and pretty much got the job done, but I felt like I still needed a new kind of jump rope.

That is when I fell upon Here Rope.
