Holy cow! I’m into week 30, but I’m giving you the details on Week 29. We’ll get to week 30 soon. But for now, let’s dive into what the past week has been filled with, some good and some not-so-good. But, hey! It’s the nature of the beast.
By the way, sit back and relax because this is a long one….
Final Femme Luxe Collaboration
First, I completed my last collaboration with Femme Luxe UK. Our partnership lasted for two years! I am grateful to have been able to partner with them once the pandemic hit and keep our partnership growing and alive for two years.
Over the course of the two years, I’ve reviewed over 150 individual items and outfits from their brand. I can tell you that I loved almost everything that I received. The partnership was not paid.
Instead, they allowed me to order up to four items each month and give a review of the clothing on my blog. It was a beautiful way to build my wardrobe and share with readers what they could expect from the clothing and service. Overall, I would recommend it.
Since the last post, they have decided to only work with bloggers who reside in the United Kingdom. This actually works out well for me because not only am I expecting, but when our little ladybug arrives, I’m sure I’ll be more into collaborations that include her. So, while I will miss the partnership, it is time to move on. When one door closes, remember, another door opens.
But, don’t leave this post, before you check out my favorite post, Femme Luxe Pretty Pastel Weekend Wardrobe Capsule!
Centering Pregnancy & Choosing a Pediatrician
Aside from photos, I attended one of my last Centering Pregnancy classes. In last week’s class, we covered more on breastfeeding, did some fun activities, and learned more about choosing a pediatrician. This was essential information because I needed recommendations, as we are new to the area. Remember, we moved last year to a new city?
We are down to our final two classes in July and it’s all over. Even though I have had other children, this was the first time that I have taken a Centering Pregnancy class and I enjoyed it greatly. It was nice to get to know others that were experiencing similar things at the same time.
Another really fun part of being in the class was learning that our entire class is all having girls!
More Fun with Ripple Street!
As the week came to an end, it was some fun mixed with some ugh news! We spent the day going around to different stores and taking different selfies for the Ripple Street activities.
Recently we won a Halo Ice Cream Chatterbox, a Chardonnay Chatterbox, and an AHA Sparkling Water Chatterbox. It’s fun doing the activities and taking the selfies. We are currently applying for an IPA Chatterbox. Of course, I won’t be able to participate in the drinking portion of it, but I can enjoy the favors and other fun stuff that goes along with it.
If you are unfamiliar with Ripple Street, it used to be called House Party. Those parties were filled with favors and a ton of fun. For example, check out the M&Ms House Party we did a few years back! It was so much fun! We’ve also hosted a football and cheese party, a rootbeer float party, a Canon Ivy party, and so many more.
Chatterboxes are on a smaller scale with fewer people involved and fewer favors, but still some really cool fun! If you are interested just google Ripple Street. I wish I had an affiliate link for you, but I don’t.
Here’s a blurb from the internet:
“Ripple Street is the leading influencer marketing platform for connecting brands with their biggest fans. We build communities of authentic consumer influencers and give them the tools to experience and share the brands they love with the people they love.”
It’s worth checking out if you’re into things like this!
Three-Hour Glucose Test for Gestational Diabetes
Lastly, I received the news that I didn’t pass my one-hour glucose test, so I had to go in for a three-hour glucose test. Shucks! And, well, I only passed ? hour tests. So, now I have to be extremely mindful of what I consume and check my glucose levels throughout the day.
No more indulging in summer ice cream! It really sucks because it’s one of my favorite things to do in the summer – get ice cream!
Final Thoughts
Well, there you have it! A peek into life at 29 weeks pregnant with this little girl including Centering Pregnancy, a farewell to Femme Luxe UK, a temporary goodbye to delicious and creamy ice cream, and fun with Ripple Street!
For week 30, I’ll be sharing all the details about the Virtual Prego Expo happening Wednesday-Friday of this week! Tickets are still on sale for $5 if you’re interested, as well as how our upcoming maternity shoot turns out. Even though there are a few not-so-good moments sprinkled in, the good always outweighs the bad! Even when it doesn’t seem like it!
