Once April arrived, I couldn’t wait to give our patio balcony a clean makeover. Going into this year, I intended to embrace a more slow-living vibe and spend more time outdoors on our patio balcony. Our Patio Balcony Makeover
Our newly updated space has become a well-loved and utilized extension of our much-loved apartment. Since its implementation, we have indeed spent a considerable amount of time outdoors.

Efficient Assembly Process
Before I get more into the features of this fan, let’s discuss the assembly process and a piece of advice that I have.
When it was time to assemble the fan, I headed outdoors on the patio balcony where I unboxed each part and read through the instruction manual. Since there weren’t many pieces to assemble, the visual diagram was simple enough for me to understand how to put the fan together without reading the text. The entire assembly process took me less than 15 minutes.
Assemble and Safety Advice
As I went through the assembly process, I took a few mental notes to share in this blog post. Since the motor is a bit heavy, my advice when working through the setup is to be sure that you tighten everything, especially the internal pole and the height adjustment knob accordingly, and double-check that all is secured. This will give you peace of mind knowing that the fan is stable and balanced on the base.
You will also want to ensure the cord to the misting feature is properly secured and out of the way to prevent any possible trips or falls. Also, be sure that cords are out of the way. Speaking of safety, this fan has a built-in GFCI plug which adds an extra layer of safety to prevent accidents. This is especially important to me as I have a toddler who plays in this space.

Two Ways to Get Cool
Now that we have covered some important bits on assembly and safety let’s talk about how fun and refreshing this 2-in-1 evaporative mister and pedestal fan is. First, it is important to know that there are adjustable misting settings that allow you to customize the cooling experience to your liking. I appreciate this because just like the weather changes day-to-day, so do our personal preferences.
On some occasions, we may prefer a light mist, but on others, we may prefer more of an intense cooling effect. Regardless of our preference for the day or time being, it is easy to get the fan misting. Simply connect the fan to a standard garden hose.
