With the weather warming and festival season peeking around the corner, I wanted to try some looks that are sure to wow during the many festivals such as the Lantern Festival, the Grant Park Music Festival, etc.
So, let’s take a look at some of the dresses that I have chosen for festival season from FEMME LUXE.

Festival Season Ideas
Aside from learning what size to order, I also envisioned the style I wanted to achieve for festival season. I wanted a few girly looks that matched with my floral festival crown that I made a few years back.

In addition to this, I also wanted something fashionable and black. You can never go wrong with the color black and you can always dress it up or down.
Lastly, I wanted a few relaxed looks that were easy to style with shorts, pants, or leggings – if needed. So, check out what I ended up with.
Sage and Pink Mesh Floral Sleeve Ribbed Bodycon Mini Dresses
For starters, I fell in love with the Mesh Floral Sleeve Ribbed Bodycon Mini Dresses, so I knew immediately, I wanted a few in a few different colors. That’s just the way I shop. If I get something and love it, I want it in several different colors.
Therefore, I went with the Sage Mesh Floral Sleeve Bodycon Mini Dress – Kellen in a size 14 and the Pink Ribbed Floral Mesh Bodycon Mini Dress – Saoirse in a size 12/14. Both of these darling dresses match my floral festival crown perfectly. Talk about being excited!
It is important to me that I tell you that the Pink Bodycon Mini Dress fits a bit better and more comfortably than the Sage Bodycon Mini Dress. While I can wear the pink one as a dress alone, I cannot wear the sage one without leggings or pants. I’m simply too tall (and still carrying a little winter weight).
Nevertheless, I love them both and they each make perfect dresses for festival season, as well as so many other occasions.
Black Mesh Floral Sleeve Ribbed Bodycon Mini Dress
The final Mesh Floral Sleeve Ribbed Bodycon Mini Dress that I ordered was black and in a size 14. This one fit more like a shirt than dress, very similar to the sage dress, but I am not disappointed by any means. I am actually really happy with it and love it just the way it is.
For this look, I decided to drop the floral crown and go with a black festive headband hat that looks so adorable with it. My grandmother-in-love gifted it to me. I am sure it’s a church hat.
But, that’s okay, too!
Grey Shoulder Cut Out Jersey Dress – Laura
The final two items I chose for festival season were these Shoulder Cut Out Jersey Dresses. While they are dresses, my height has made them shirts and I am perfectly fine with this because, as I noted earlier, I wanted something that was comfortable and could be easily paired with shorts, pants, or leggings – if needed. And, this is exactly what you get with this style of dress.
Khaki Cold Shoulder Cut Out Jersey Dress – Laura
For this style, I chose more neutral colors including the Khaki Cold and the Grey. I ordered both of these in sizes 12/14. The fabric that these dresses are made of are extremely soft and comfortable. I enjoy the neckline cut out, as well as the cuff and the belts that come with them.
All I can say is that these gorgeous dresses have me extremely excited for festival season.
Final Thoughts
