If you are new to the blog, you may not be aware of my goal of having and keeping a nice wardrobe. I’ve written it on all of my vision boards for the past five years, as well as in my Lifebook.
To stick with my goals, I keep my wardrobe up to date by ordering from affordable and fashionable online sites. This year, I mostly ordered from Shein, but recently, I ordered for the first time from FEMME LUXE.

FEMME LUXE is affordable fashion with the latest trends in women’s clothing and luxe-style dresses.
If you scroll through their site or Instagram page, you can easily be intimidated if you don’t have a sleek, fashion model body.
But, I am here to tell you in this post, that real women can wear FEMME LUXE.

Real Women Can Wear FEMME LUXE
When I first scrolled through the site, I immediately knew my style was not sexy, so I skipped through most of the sexy items, and started my search for more classier pieces. After a page or two of scrolling, I came across some gorgeous Mesh Floral Sleeve Ribbed Tops.
I was in love!
Not only were they gorgeous, but they were affordable. Hello, Femme Luxe! On top of being absolutely gorgeous and my style of sleeve, they are the style of tops that I can wear on a daily basis and not just for special occasions.
Each mesh floral ribbed top was only 16.99 which is very reasonable and affordable for trendy clothes.
Mesh Floral Sleeve Ribbed Tops & Bodycon Mini Dress
As I exclaimed previously, it was without a doubt that I knew these were my pieces! These tops are classy, but still showed a little skin through the mesh sleeves. They are also very girly and I love all things girly and frilly.
Anywho, as I continued to scroll, I saw that the Mesh Floral Sleeve Ribbed Tops were also in multiple colors, as well as in Bodycon Mini Dress. So, I ordered three of the tops and one dress.
While the tops were only 16.99, the dress was only a dollar more! Are you kidding me? What a deal!
UK Sizing or US Sizing?
To add in a few extra details, I want to share with you the sizes that I ordered. I ordered the black, green, and white Mesh Floral Ribbed Top and the Pink Mesh Floral Sleeve Bodycon Mini Dress – all in a size 14.
I do not know if I ordered a 14 in the US size or the UK size, but everything fit and I was shocked. My only gripe about the tops is that they are short on my torso (meaning I probably ordered the wrong size).
To fix it, I simply put a tank top on underneath in the same color which evened everything out.
It is very important that when you place your order you pay close attention to the Size Guide. Be sure that you are ordering your size in the correct country’s size. Customers can choose from the UK, US, and EURO.
Also, note that I ordered from FEMME LUXE CO UK and shipping took approximately a week.
What’s the Verdict?
Interestingly enough, the mini dress fit perfectly as a top. So, moving forward, I now know that because I require longer tops, I simply need to order dresses from the site instead of some of the tops.
After I tried everything on and wore one of the shirts for the day, I immediately jumped back on the site to search for dresses that I could wear as tops and wear with leggings and boots.
I also made a note to myself that if I want to wear dresses, I need to order the midi style dresses because they are longer in length and will be a great fit for me since I am a bit tall.
I also chose to keep my hair up in a bun because there was so much going on with the sleeves and earrings. Having my hair down would have probably been a mess.
On my next order, I plan to order the Jersey Knit Shoulder Cut Out Dresses. Those will look awesome with a bun or having my hair down. They are the perfect run-around-town, weekend dress.
Keep in Mind Other Items
But, please keep in mind, FEMME LUXE offers more than tops and dresses. I simply went with my preferred taste in clothing. Other items include a variety of Trousers and Jeans.

After ordering for the first time, I can say that FEMME LUXE meets its mission of providing affordable and trendy womens fashion.
