Our First Tea Party with this Kididdo Tea Party Set

In this post, I’m sharing how I am teaching our daughter the fine art and elegance of enjoying afternoon tea through this pretend play Tea Party Set sponsored by Kididdo.

In fact, this was our very first tea party together with a few of her girlfriends, Llama Llama, Jada, and Violet the Fawn.

One of the elegant activities that I enjoy is having afternoon tea. With this being said, afternoon tea is my favorite, as it is light and elegant. With my daughter growing up, I want her to be able to enjoy afternoon tea, just as much as the women in our family do, so it only makes sense to begin practicing the art of having afternoon tea with her through pretend play.

According to Albert Einstein, “Play is the highest form of research”. And, families that play together, stay together. Getting creative and participating in pretend play is an ideal way to increase your children’s imagination and critical thinking skills. Wouldn’t you agree?

Kididdo Tea Party Set

With this in mind, I want to share this 39-piece tea set for little girls by Kididdo. The tea set is made with beautiful colors and designs and actually looks like the real thing.  It is intended for girls between the ages of 3-4 years old, but I want to introduce the concept of pretend play to my daughter beginning now.

I don’t want her to have to postpone her creativity, learning, and fun. This all actually works out perfectly with this set because it is a small set and the pieces are able to fit nicely into her hands.

Some ways that we play with this tea set now is by me letting her hold each item while I show her how it is used and by naming the item which will ultimately help her with her language skills. I also use the different color desserts to name colors for her such as yellow and pink.

After consistently playing with her, she will know exactly how to enjoy not only pretend afternoon tea but real afternoon tea much sooner than later.

Speaking of play before the age of three, it’s important to note that this tea party set is safe for toddlers. It is certified non-toxic, BPA-free, and easy to wash which is important when you have little ones that are always putting things in their mouths.

Each Tea Party Set includes a complete service for (4) including the following:

  • 1 Teapot
  • 4 Tin Tea Cups
  • 4 Saucers
  • 4 Coasters
  • 1 Tray
  • 2 Spoons
  • 2 Forks
  • 3 Tiered Cake Stand
  • 1 Pastry Server
  • 14 Pretend Pastry Desserts (including macaroons, cupcakes, and cake)

Final Thoughts

Having a daughter is proving to be so delightful. I am excited and so grateful that I get the opportunity to love her and teach her. And, teaching her the fine art and elegance of enjoying afternoon tea through this pretend play Tea Party Set sponsored by Kididdo is just one of the ways.
