Our Mommy & Me Easter Pajama Party with Bunny Slippers

Thank you BunnySlippers.com for sponsoring our mommy & me pajama party post.

Spring is a time for celebrating new beginnings and spending quality time with family. Wouldn’t you agree? So, what better way to do that than by having an adorable spring mommy & me pajama party? This is a fun and cozy way to bond and make lasting memories with your little girl during the Easter holiday season. With all of this in mind, let’s jump into our mommy & me Easter pajama party.

Bedroom or Living Room

First, decide where you will host your pajama party. You may decide to clear some space in your living room or bedroom and lay out some spring-themed blankets and pillows. We set up our pajama party on the bed, in front of the projector screen, and added some fun pink bunny pillows, stuffed animals, and blankets.

Spring Decorations

In order to have a spring-themed pajama party, you have to set the tone with lovely decorations. Spring-themed decorations such as flowers, pastel colors, and bunnies can add a fun touch. But, before you head out shopping, consider shopping your home first. You’ll be amazed at what you already have either sitting in plain sight or either stashed away.

After shopping your house, do enjoy some time browsing stores and online to finish getting the things that you would like or need.

I ended up keeping things simple with a strand of tassel garland across the headboard and focused on keeping things cozy and contained on the bed.

Once decorations are accounted for, it’s time to decide what to wear during the pajama party. With the weather not yet completely warm, you’ll likely to still be wearing the warm and soft pajamas that you already have like my daughter’s pajamas.

White Classic Bunny Slippers

If that’s the case, all you have to do is order some adorable bunny slippers that pair with the spring theme. For myself, I chose the Classic Bunny Slippers in white. These slippers are the most popular and feature wireframe adjustable ears, a cotton ball tail, bouncing whiskers, and distinctive pink detailing.

Brown Bunny Baby Booties

For my daughter, I chose the Brown Bunny Baby Booties. I love that her baby booties have elastic at the ankles to keep them nice and snug on her feet. They are also very detailed, as well.

Both pairs are cute, comfortable, and cozy and make for a great photo op! Not only this but they’re perfect for a cozy night in, especially as the weather is still a little chilly.

Other Options

Bunny slippers come in all shapes and sizes, so whether you’re looking for something cute and cuddly or a bit more sophisticated, bunnyslippers.com has got you covered. From classic white bunnies with floppy ears like mine to pink bunnies with bows and even unicorns, there’s a pair of bunny slippers for everyone. I simply chose these to fit the theme of our own mommy & me pajama party.

Delicious Snacks

Next, let’s talk about the snacks. A pajama party isn’t complete without some delicious treats. If your daughter is older, you can make Easter-themed snacks like bunny-shaped sugar cookies, chocolate-covered strawberries decorated like eggs, or even have a DIY hot chocolate bar with Easter-themed toppings like mini marshmallows and sprinkles. How fun would this be?!

But, for us, I chose treats that were more fitting including a bunny-shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwich for me and fruit and veggie wafers for her. Along with fruit juice and water to keep it healthy.

Pajama Party Activities

For activities, you can watch Easter movies like Hop or Peter Rabbit, play Easter-themed board games, or even do some Easter crafts like decorating eggs or making bunny ears. Since my daughter is still small, we skipped the craft bunny ears.

Instead, we opted for simply wearing bunny headband ears, watching movies on the projector screen, and reading a bunny-themed book. We also spent some time playing with her wooden kitchen toys which she really enjoys.

Mommy and Me Photo Shoot Ideas | Photos! Photos! Photos!

Lastly, don’t forget to take lots of pictures to capture the memories. In fact, this is also an ideal time to have an at-home mommy and me photo shoot.

You can set up a photo booth with Easter-themed props like bunny ears, carrot noses, and egg-shaped glasses. Or, just take some candid photos using your phone, a camera, and/or an instant camera – which is always loads of fun!

Doing this will be a fun way to remember your special pajama party for years to come. What other mommy and me photo shoot ideas do you have?

Final Thoughts

In summary, a mommy & me pajama party for Easter is an egg-citing and cozy way to celebrate the holiday together. From comfy pajamas and bunny slippers to Easter-themed snacks and activities, there are so many ways to make this party special. So put on your bunny slippers, snuggle up with your little one, and enjoy some quality time together this spring.
