Simple Ways to Improve the Success of your Small Company

In my most recent post, Personal Growth, Weight Loss, and Camping Prep, I shared the most recent books that I have been reading with a few recommendations coming from Bob Proctor. In yesterday’s email, Bob shared a great quote that reads, “Great leaders, entrepreneurs, and extraordinary business people always have one thing in common: they surround themselves with high-vibration, growth-oriented people.”

Being a high-vibration, growth-oriented person, I want to share some simple ways that you can improve the success of your small company or blog.

Create Personality with Your Branding

Being a freelancer, blogger, or small start-up company, you have the power to create personality with your branding. You have the creative freedom to choose keywords, logos, photos, etc that align with the vision of the brand that you are creating. This is very powerful because you get to be authentically you, and this is what customers want. 

They want someone that they can engage with, and they also want someone who they can relate to as well. You have to remember that you have a lot of authenticity and you have a lot of heart as well. 

It’s your vision that sets you apart, so use it to your advantage if you can. Simply put, your brand’s personality comes about by putting more of yourself into your company.

Develop a Detailed Plan

Planning can easily make or break your small business. If you properly plan and prepare, you can have great success, however, if you fail to plan, your business is likely to fail, as well. 

To avoid this, be sure that you take the time to develop a plan for your business, a business plan. In your plan be very specific and clear of your company’s process and be ensure that you have the right systems in place for your business. 

As an example, I recently had a consultation with a bookkeeper to ensure that I had a proper system in place for booking and accounting measures. In our meeting, we very clear and addressed both, booking and accounting workflow tips. Not having such measures in place is a sure way to fail. And, as a small business, we don’t want that.

Avoid Mistakes By Measuring Twice and Cutting Once

One of the best and easiest ways for you to rocket your chances of being successful is to avoid mistakes in all you do. A simple way to do this is to “measure twice and cut once”. 

If you have never heard of this, it simply means that you should plan and prepare in a careful and thorough manner, and always double-check before taking action.

Customers Love to Be Connected

Finally, it’s important to know that customers actually love supporting local companies. After all, when they do support a local company, they receive benefits, such as improving the economy on a local basis. Knowing the people who are behind the product, or the service will lead to a better experience overall.
