With April being such a hectic and emotional month, it was imperative that I took some time off to relax and practice self-care. With this in mind, I headed off to Indianapolis and spent a week relaxing, pampering myself, wandering the city a little bit and enjoying some of the contents of the Original Hemp and Budzy CBD boxes. Each box was amazingly unique.

But, before we jump into the contents of each box, I want to share a little bit about CBD.
What is CBD?
You have probably heard of CBD by now, especially if you have been around the blog a bit. To begin, CBD stands for cannabidiol – a compound found inside the cannabis plant. CBD isn’t what gets you high – that’s THC – and the majority of CBD products on the market are made from male cannabis plants (hemp), which contain little to no THC.
With this in mind, it is safe to say that CBD is legal in most states, as some US states still technically consider CBD illegal. It really just depends on where you live. However, even with this information, CBD products continue to be sold and consumed freely in all 50 US states.
CBD products can be consumed in a variety of ways and are said to have various healing and relaxation effects for those that use the products. Benefits can include but are not limited to reducing anxiety, help with pain management, regulating your mood and reducing inflammation.
For me, I personally enjoy CBD gummies for reducing anxiety, teas and healing salves most of all – which brings me to the contents of both the Original Hemp and Budzy Box.
What is Original Hemp?
If you are unfamiliar with Original Hemp, it is an in-house CBD brand of Arise Bioscience. If you have never heard of them, they are a leader in the production and distribution of hemp derived CBD wellness products.

What is a Budzy Monthly Subscription Box?

Additionally, Budzy dispenses “knowledge with each box, empowering women through cannabidiol education to break down stereotypes and embrace a life infused with CBD”.
Each Budzy box features world-class CBD- infused products such as calming wearable patches, chocolates that fight anxiety, nourishing facial masks, feel-good teas and healthful treats, even hemp extract macaroni and cheese, just to name a few. I was so elated when I went through the contents of my box.
Final Thoughts
Well, there you have it; a peek into two of the CBD monthly boxes that came with me on staycation to get away and relax.
