Toddler Easter Egg Hunt Activities and Hawaiian-Shaved Ice

Initially, I didn’t have big plans for Easter this year. However, while running errands, I saw some adorable plastic Easter eggs and had to have them for my daughter. At that moment, I decided to create her own little Easter Egg Hunt followed by a Hawaiian-shaved ice cone and a themed activity that we could do together. And, that’s just what we did.

Toddler Easter Egg Hunt

For the Easter Egg Hunt, I grabbed a variety of colorful and fun plastic eggs. These were not the traditional Easter eggs. Instead, these were silly faces, fruit faces, cars, and flowers, just to name a few. I also picked up a handful of small things that my daughter enjoys and that I feel comfortable with her having. Items included a pack of cute socks, some toddler-appropriate fruit snacks, and a few small toys.

I filled about 10 of the eggs and placed them in a basket. I grabbed our picnic blanket and pillow set and headed to the yard. Once she was settled on the picnic blanket, I scattered the eggs around, handed her a purple jelly basket, and showed her how to “find and collect” her eggs.  She easily got the hang of it and had a wonderful time doing so.

Once all of the eggs were collected, we headed back inside for her to get changed and open her eggs. She was so surprised by the treat nestled in each egg!

Easter-Themed Hawaiian-Shaved Ice | Vanilla, Strawberry, and Pineapple

After her Easter eggs were opened, we headed to the kitchen to make shaved ice cones. We use the Hawaiian-Shaved Ice machine which is the #1 selling Essential Shaved Ice Machine with over 17000+ reviews. It’s a must-have and great for family activities like this.

As a family, we all enjoy creating our own versions, however, for Easter, I decided that it would be great to create an Easter-themed Hawaiian-shaved ice cone which includes using Vanilla, Strawberry, and Pineapple syrups and themed containers.

Being intentional with planning a simple activity like this makes creating these moments so much more memorable and creative. If Vanilla, Strawberry, and Pineapple don’t sound like your combination, have no worries. The Hawaiian-Shaved Ice recipe blog has a ton of recipes!

Easter-Themed Activity

As we enjoyed our Easter-themed HawaiianShaved Ice cones, we engaged in some fun and simple Easter-themed activities including reading Egg Hunt and creating silly faces with Silly Sweeties Sticker Face book. I picked up the books from Dollar Tree and Walmart and both were inexpensive.

Final Thoughts

If you are a family with a toddler and looking for an entertaining activity for Easter, I would highly encourage creating a small Easter egg hunt in your yard followed by enjoying a delicious treat like an Easter-themed Hawaiian-shaved ice cone and ending with a calming but entertaining activity.
