Bloom Women’s Conference and Daily Prayer & Gratitude Journal Review

In January, I had the privilege of attending the Bloom Women’s Conference with a very dear friend of mine. It was certainly an evening that not only left an indelible mark on my heart but also brought us together on an even deeper level. Hosted by a community of passionate women of faith, this event was not just a conference; it was an experience of spiritual rejuvenation, empowerment, and connection.

With this in mind, I want to share a bit about my experience at the Bloom Women’s Conference and how it led to me wanting to use a separate journal (other than my commonplace notebook) as my daily prayer and gratitude journal.

Bloom Women’s Christian Bible Conference

As I entered the church lobby, I could immediately feel the anticipation and warmth in the atmosphere. There were tables to get checked in, receive your swag, meal tickets, and conference sessions, as well as snacks and beverages. There was even a fun photo booth for selfies and photos with friends.

Once that was taken care of, we were able to choose which color mini journal we wanted for our notes and prayers as we entered the opening session. I, of course, chose pink.

As the conference started, you could easily see that women from all walks of life converged with a shared purpose: to grow in their faith and to bloom into the best versions of themselves. From thought-provoking sessions and workshops throughout the conference, every moment was infused with inspiration and encouragement.

Practice: Prayer and Gratitude

With this being said, one of the highlights of the conference was the emphasis on prayer and gratitude. As the coming days unfolded, I knew that my small pink notebook would not hold much more from the weekend, so I returned to my daily gratitude practice in my commonplace notebook.

Over the next month, I noticed that I had been writing more than usual and had filled up the gratitude section of my commonplace. Since I wasn’t ready to end my commonplace notebook, I started moving tabs around so that I would have more pages available for prayer and gratitude journaling and less for other areas.

This worked out fine until I reached the page limit again and adjusting tabs no longer worked. To resolve this situation, I decided that moving forward, I would have a separate journal for my prayers and gratitude.

Daily Prayer & Gratitude Journal by The Christian Journal Co.

For my journal, I chose the Daily Prayer & Gratitude Journal by The Christian Journal Co. who believe that,  “Christian journaling is a powerful tool that can help individuals deepen their faith, reflect on their spiritual journey, and develop a closer relationship with God”. Furthermore, they believe that like any good habit, the key is getting started and being consistent, and I completely agree.

I also believe in the power of writing things down physically. In fact, writing your prayers and gratitude is a powerful tool for introspection and spiritual growth. It’s a great way to look back and see how far you have come and grown, but also to see how you handle various life situations that were presented to you. For example, which biblical affirmation, chapter, or verse did you lean on most? Why was that?

From personal experience, I have found journaling to be a sacred and safe space for me to pour out my heart to God, to express my gratitude for His blessings, and to reflect on His faithfulness in my life. Not only this, but, please remember that the more you are grateful, the more you attract things to be grateful for.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I was pleased with the conference and am also pleased with my choice of journaling tool. The Daily Prayer & Gratitude Journal by The Christian Journal Co. is a great journal to assist you on your journey of spiritual growth, especially as I left the conference with my heart full, my spirit uplifted, and my faith renewed.

While I chose this journal in the color cotton as a hardback, there is the option to have it in the color black in PU leather with gold embossed detail. There is plenty of space for reflection along with a host of biblical affirmations. Lastly, it has a ribbon divider/bookmark and comes in the size 5.6” x 8.25″.

Finally, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this transformative experience, and I carry its lessons with me as I continue to journey through life’s ups and downs.
