As promised, we are on Day 3 of me sharing my 2020 Year End Review. If you missed 2020 Year End Review | Quarter 2 and Quarter 1, go ahead and check those out so that you are caught up and ready to dive into Quarter 3 with me.
I don’t have many resources and tips to share from this quarter but, who knows, you may find something that resonates with you – and, I hope that you do!
July 2020
July was similar to June. Less restrictions and more free time. With this in mind, we took another quick and responsible road trip.
This time we headed off to St. Louis where I wrote about What to Expect at America’s Incredible Pizza During the Pandemic and a Visit to the Pink Elephant on Route 66.
Aside from this, I completed my first virtual 5K for World Music Day. It was exciting to have that medal on and take my photo after completing the 5K.
August 2020
Frustration and anxiousness set in in August. Everything regarding school was unknown. And, as a parent that was nerve-wracking. Even though I had been researching home school options, we didn’t decide upon Time4Learning until September – after we gave virtual learning a try first.

Aside from that, I completed a variety of beauty reviews during the month including a review of the Ipsy Glam Bag, CIC Beauty Diffuser and the NPET Makeup Mirror. I also completed my first collaboration with Evalamor (lingerie). Ouueeeee.
September 2020
September I was overwhelmed. I was switching the boys from virtual school to Time4Learning. I cranked out 32 blog posts for the month AND started a nine week Money Mastery course on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. What the hell was I thinking?
I was so tired, but was loving the work I was doing on the blog. I was also able to squeeze a day away and take my son to the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. That was a parenting win – for sure.
Final Thoughts
During this quarter, I learned to have more faith in myself. It was scary deciding to homeschool my boys. I kept thinking, I’m so busy. What if I fail? Then I remembered the quote that says, “What if I fall? Oh, Darling, But what if you fly?” Image Above from Etsy.
In that moment, I realized that I am their mother and I have their best interest at heart. I made the decision, stuck with it and life is just fine.
My boys are doing their homeschool assignments at home in their own time, doing extremely well and aren’t stressed with some of the stressors that come with virtual school. Everyday isn’t easy, but it’s working for us and it was the best decision for us and our family.
