Recently, my sister-in-law and I decided to take the plunge and get our daughters’ ears pierced at Claire’s, and let me tell you, it was an easy experience.
From the moment we walked into the store, we were greeted by friendly staff who were ready to explain the process and help us choose the most appropriate earrings for each of the girls.
Classy Girls Wear Pearls
For my daughter, I chose from the baby and toddler section. While there were several styles to choose from in that section, I was immediately drawn to the small set of pearls, thinking, “classy girls wear pearls”.
After selecting the small set of pearls, it was time for the main event. As I held Brielle, the piercer marked her ears to make sure the piercings would be in the proper place. After confirming that the marks were in good places, it was time for the piercing. With a quick pinch and a pop, my daughter’s ears were pierced.
Whoohoooo! We did it!
The big question from people was, “Did she cry?”. And, yes, she did. But, it only lasted for about a minute.
After her ears were pierced, the Rapid After Care Cleanser was used on her ears and we were done. By this time, she had stopped crying.
Just a quick note that Claire’s is not sponsoring this post, but, hey, Claire’s if you are reading, please do reach out to me for other opportunities to collaborate!
Anywho…
While only one piercer pierced my daughter’s ears, two piercers were available to pierce my nieces’ ears simultaneously. This worked out wonderfully because they are both under 10 and were very nervous about the process.
If they had gotten their ears pierced one ear at a time, it may have been pretty dramatic. Thank goodness, we avoided the dramatics.
In between, each of the girls getting their ears pierced, we walked around the store looking at all the cure accessories. Doing so, brought back so many memories of being young and walking through cute stores like Claire’s wanting and wishing for everything that were on the shelves.
Costs
Since this post isn’t sponsored, it is worth talking a bit about the costs involved. For the pearl earrings and piercing for my seven-month-old, it was $76 with the 20% off promotion. My nieces were a little less expensive due to them choosing different studs.
If I had to do everything all over again, I wouldn’t change anything – besides the fact that I would have bought a few fun things for myself that I saw. Hahaha!
Final Thoughts
So if you’re considering getting your ears pierced, I highly recommend checking out Claire’s. With their friendly staff, stylish earrings, and Rapid Aftercare solution, you’re sure to have a fun and fabulous experience that will leave you feeling like a million bucks – or at least like a classy girl who wears pearls (smiles).
