Today while checking my email, I came across a post from Refinery29 entitled, “What People Wear To Disney Parks Around The World”. I couldn’t wait to check out all of the photos to see what people wear. As I scrolled slide to slide, I realized one common theme; people were embracing their creativity and imagination.
I immediately got excited looking at the various Mickey and Minnie mouse ears, the colorful Disney backgrounds in places around the world like Paris and Germany. I mean, my wheels were turning rapidly thinking about all the creative clothing options we have as we plan to pack for our upcoming Disney adventure. I want to dress fun!
Speaking of which…
Have you seen the newly installed Countdown to Disney widget on the sidebar? Yep, we are down to 75 days and the boys have been getting really excited. I’m excited, too!
The dimes are still rolling in, but as of August (as in starting tomorrow) I plan to amp up the savings factor, grab three Disney gift cards from Target – for our spending, and go ahead and get our plane tickets.
Transportation Plans
In February when I flew down to check out the parks and attend the Instant Impressions Media Event at Animal Kingdom Lodge, I flew using Spirit Airlines. Do you know that I only paid $100 round trip from Chicago to Orlando.
That’s right. And, while I was there, I simply used an Uber to get around.
So, since that worked for me in February, that seems like the plan for October; fly using Spirit Airlines with one bag each and Uber our way around. No big deal at all.
I know you are probably thinking, “Why just one bag?” Well, it’s easier. Point blank.
When the three of us travel by airplane, it is easier on all of us when each person can keep up with their own belongings. In addition to that, there is no waiting around for Baggage Claim, so we can go ahead get started with our adventures.
Lodging Plans
What I haven’t figured out yet is our lodging. When we first began our planning, we were considering using a Timeshare. That is no longer an option, therefore, we will be staying in a hotel, but I don’t know which one just yet.
But, that’s okay, because that’s where Instant Impressions comes in.

I just need to know what I want. Once I book our tickets, I will know our exact days and then we can move forward with our room, tickets, and other fun items like Magic Bands!
Oh yeah! I didn’t get one in February, but I sure want us to have one in October for the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during the month of October! Whoohoo! And, I want them to get their 1st Visit Buttons and for my oldest son to get his Happy Birthday Button! Yessss!
So, if you are planning your Disney vacation, go ahead and visit Instant Impressions and use my code (JBB18) when making contact!
