Gift Guide for the Fitness Enthusiast

Sometime ago, I posted a Holiday Gift Guide for the Hobbyist. A hobbyist is someone who does something for the pleasure of doing it and not for the pay.  It could be an activity, interest, enthusiasm, or pastime that is done during their own time.

In that post I listed a few items for the exercise enthusiast. So, in today’s post, I want to expand upon that list and bring you four more gifts for the exercise enthusiast in your life or simply for yourself.

Personally, these items are dear to me because I’m currently committed to Noom for six months to release the extra weight that I’ve been carrying. Along with changing my eating habits, I’ve begun to increase my exercise around the house.

Noom

Noom is a weight loss app that provides access to a health coach and a personalized weight loss plan. Its creators claim that these tools, plus the accurate food calorie counter, can help people reach their weight goals.

The way I understand the pricing is that it is based on your goal and how long it should take to reach that goal. My goal is rather lofty, so it’s priced out at six months. I starterted with a 14 day free trial and saw results. I then decided I owed it to myself to pay for the six months and reach my goal as best possible.

If you are interested in weight loss and this sounds good to you, use my referral link here and sign up. You can also check back every few weeks for a Noom update. #NoomNation

30 Day Shred

In terms of exercise, instead of always using the treadmill, I have decided to jump back into my Jillian Michaels DVD’s. The original 30 Day Shred helped me lose weight and tone up years ago after my first son, so of course, I pulled it back out along with the others that I have.

When I lost weight after having my first son, I used Nutrisystem, walked on the treadmill wearing a sauna suit, and used the 30 Day Shred. I love how you can use it as a stand alone exercise or double up by adding in some walking.

Tesalate Workout Towels

But either way, I sweat, so these Tesalate Workout Towels come in handy BIG time. A year or so ago, I had the opportunity to review the Tesalate Beach Towel and loved it, so I knew these would be just as great! And, they are. They are antibacterial and odor-free workout towels.

What I love about them is that they come in a variety of colors and designs, they are larger than other workout towels that I have seen and they fold up rather compact, so that they don’t take up much space.

Wonder Arms

Aside from walking on the treadmill and using the DVD’s, sometimes, I like to simply do a quick arm workout. Nothing strenuous. Trust me. So, from time to time, I will alternate between my hand weights and Wonder Arms

Wonder Arms is designed to shape, tone, tighten all those arm muscles, as seen on tv! In addition it folds up quickly for easy, compact storage in your home gym.

Now, I know this was on TV a long time ago. I remember seeing it and wanting it. I didn’t end up getting it until last year or earlier this year at Five Below for $5. As a matter of fact, they still sell them and they are only $2.50. Seriously.

Athletic Gear

But, don’t forget your gear while you are getting all of your gadgets and services together. EliteSports & Born Tough offer a variety of athletic wear, gym workout clothing, and fitness accessories.

Water Bottles! Water Bottles! Water Bottles!

Lastly, it’s important to stay hydrated while exercising and also throughout your day. This Pink SOXCOXO Half Gallon Water Bottle does the trick and I love it because it’s pink. But, there are other colors. And, of course you should choose one that speaks to you or the person that you have in mind.

Final Thoughts

Well, there you have it! A few tried and true gifts perfect for the fitness enthusiast or for yourself!
